Precipitous Catacombs is a Lost Rites proving ground, a trial dungeon from Dark Arisen. Its entrance lies about 1,020 m from Bakbattahl in a straight line, and the Proving Ground Compass leads you to it. You can enter only if your Arisen's vocation is archer or magick archer.

Its chests hold Explosive Arrow, Blighting Arrow, Glasrew Galea, Archaic Boots, Allheal Elixir, Offering Flame, Portcrystal, Catamount Jacket and Geirolul's Helm, among other things.

Within about 150 m of the entrance, on the surface and underground, you can loot 8 treasure chests, a Seeker's Token and a Golden Trove Beetle. You can also gather Quince at 6 spots and berries at 4. Expect 15 Phantasms, along with Skeletons and Specters, and a Drake roams the area. A Riftstone and a Campsite are nearby, so you have a place to make camp close to the entrance. Bakbattahl Oxcart Station is the nearest cart stop, about 1,100 m away.
