In-game description
Molten Ore is a crafting material from the Dark Arisen expansion. It turns up plentifully in the high, rocky country of Norgan and is no use alone; its value lies in what it helps you make. It goes into Heatstone and Savagery Extract.
You get it from gathering points that can also yield Sunstone and Azure Ore. One group of 64 such points clusters around Snowfall Valley Derelict Passage, which has 10, followed by Snowfall Valley Cavity with 6 and Gagana's Grotto with 5. Frigid Corridor and Icefall Tunnels have 4 each. A second group of 52 points is thickest around Norgandian Settlement, which has 10, with Frozen Ravine Hollow and Valley Cave System at 5 each and Deserted Lakeside Estate and Inner Valley Grotto at 4 each. Norgandian Settlement also has 1 spot where the ore lies loose to pick up, which makes the settlement a sensible place to start a run.
