Enshrouded 1.0: All 20 Enemy Trophies and Where to Get Every Boss Head

Every boss head the Hunter needs, the bars and planks each trophy costs, and where each boss is on Embervale.

Every boss head the Hunter needs, the bars and planks each trophy costs, and where each boss is on Embervale.

Enemy trophies in Enshrouded 1.0 are mounted versions of the game’s bosses and big enemies. Each one is built from that enemy’s severed head. All 20 sets are listed in all 126 item sets and the XP each one gives.

Quick answer: There are 20 trophy sets worth 17,500 XP. Each set is one boss’s plain, Bronze, Iron and Gold trophy, made by the Hunter, and costs 10 heads plus 1 Bronze, 1 Iron and 1 Gold Bars.

How trophy sets work

There are 20 sets in the Enemy Trophies category, one for each boss or large enemy. Finishing every set grants 17,500 XP. Each set is complete once you have all four trophy types: plain, Bronze, Iron, and Gold. Most sets give 500 XP; Hollow Cyclops, Hollow Titan, and Hollow Wispwyvern sets give 1,000 XP each. Fell Wispwyvern, Fell Dragon Youngling, Ancient S.P.D.R. Construct, and Vorgoth’s Eye sets are worth 2,000 XP apiece.

All 80 trophies come from the Hunter, Athalan Skree, and every trophy card lists Table Saw as its requirement (how to get the Table Saw). You won’t see a trophy recipe until you own that boss’s head, because the recipe unlocks the moment you know the head item.

The four versions take 1, 2, 3 and 4 heads. That makes 10 heads of the same kind per complete set, plus 1 Bronze Bars, 1 Iron Bars, 1 Gold Bars, 8 Wood Planks and 8 Nails. No trophy recipe uses Water.

Each boss in the list yields one head per defeat. Some heads can come from multiple enemies: the Armored Fell Thunderbrute can drop a Fell Thunderbrute Head, while either the Scavenger Gorger Matron or Scavenger Grizzler Matron can drop a Scavenger Matron Helmet. Every Fell Critter Queen, including both plain and Crimson versions, can drop both the Fell Critter Queen Head and the Fell Crimson Critter Queen Head.

Some heads are also spent elsewhere. Eight of them go into Flame upgrades, the Hollow Cyclops Head builds the Collector’s Ectoplasm Press, and the Vukah Brawler Head goes into the Hunter’s Scavenger Gong and the Vukah Shrine.

What each trophy version costs

Every version is crafted at the Hunter, needs the Table Saw, and produces one trophy per craft. Only the head count and the bars change between versions. All 80 recipes sit with the rest of her list in every Hunter recipe.

Crafting a full trophy set at the Hunter

Collect 10 heads of the boss for the set you want. In the game data each listed boss drops one head per defeat; where the table lists more than one enemy, each of them drops the same head.
Gather 1 Bronze Bars, 1 Iron Bars, 1 Gold Bars, 8 Wood Planks, and 8 Nails. Since the Table Saw appears as a requirement on each trophy card, make sure that requirement is met.
Open the Hunter, Athalan Skree, and find the trophy recipes for that boss. They show up once the head item is known.
Craft the plain, Bronze, Iron and Gold trophy. Owning all four completes that entry in the Enemy Trophies item-set category and pays its set XP.

Boss heads with other uses

Ten heads feed into something besides trophies. The Flame upgrade costs are in every Flame Altar upgrade requirement.

Where every boss is on Embervale

Each position below gives its distance and compass bearing from the closest named map location; north is the top of the map, and distances are rounded to the nearest 10 m. Hollow bosses are located by the entrance to their Hollow Halls (all Hollow Halls locations). The three story bosses are found at quest locations, which are described below the table. The story bosses in play order are in Enshrouded bosses in order.

Fell Wispwyvern: Reach The Capital, Pikemead’s Reach

The Fell Wispwyvern waits in the castle behind Pikemead’s Reach. The quest step “Enter The Castle” reads: “The capital “Pikemead’s Reach” has fallen, but there are no signs of the glow which the Blacksmith reported. The Blacksmith also mentioned a castle, which seems to be nestled just behind the city. Make your way through the town to enter the castle and see what awaits you there.” The following step, “Defeat The Castle Beast”, is the Fell Wispwyvern fight.

Fell Dragon Youngling: Slaying The Corrupted Beast

The fight is at the top of Howling Peak. The step “Challenge The Beast On Howling Peak” tells you to “Reach the top of Howling Peak and challenge the beast to a fight!” The quest reward is the Fell Dragon Youngling Head.

Fell Cyclops: Ignite The Coldest Elixir Well

The Fell Cyclops lives inside the main Elixir Well. The step “Defeat The “Evil Eye” Inside The Elixir Well” reads: “You’ve reached the main Elixir Well. Delve into its depths and behead the one-eyed monsters within to fight back the Shroud!” After the kill, the game adds: “The Fell Cyclops Head you’ve gathered can be used to upgrade the Flame.”

Hollow Cyclops in the Revelwood Hollow Halls

Beating the Revelwood Hollow Cyclops brings up this text: “You defeated a fearsome Hollow Cyclops at the bottom of the Revelwood Hollow Halls. Take its head and use it to craft an Ectoplasm Press. Place it to unlock better crafting options.”

Boss head item descriptions

The item text of each head:

  • Ancient S.P.D.R. Construct Eye: “The grand eye that mounted the Ancient S.P.D.R. Construct just moments before now lays in your hands. The fused metal plates and ancient machinery are fascinating.”
  • Cyclops Head: “The severed head of a fearsome cyclops. It looks down on you with disdain. Collect multiple Cyclops Heads to craft the Trophy.”
  • Direwolf Head: “The severed head of a ginormous wolf. It must have belonged to some pack leader.”
  • Fell Crimson Critter Queen Head: “It looks oddly similar to the Fell Critter Queen, just a different color.”
  • Fell Critter Queen Head: “The Fell Critter Queen Head looks strangely small without the bulk that had once followed behind it.”
  • Fell Cyclops Head: “The head of a Shroud infested Cyclops. It has pretty bad breath, even now. Collect multiple Fell Cyclops Heads to craft the Trophy.”
  • Fell Dragon Youngling Head: “Its head alone weighs a monstrous amount. The shimmering scales are ice-cold. Collect multiple Fell Dragon Youngling Heads to craft the Trophy.”
  • Fell Monstrosity Head: “Despair, hatred, loneliness… it grasps at anything to fill the void and leaves nothing but dust.”
  • Fell Sicklescythe Head: “There’s still a faint glow behind its eyes. Hopefully, they won’t follow your every move.”
  • Fell Striker Head: “The head of a Fell Striker. The eyes have been fully absorbed into fungal growth… so they’re blinded by more than rage.”
  • Fell Thunderbrute Head: “Its brain has been replaced by fungi and slush, but it’s still tremendously heavy. The face is permanently petrified with a bitter expression.”
  • Fell Wispwyvern Head: “When its luminous brood skipped over the waves near Pikemead’s Reach, it was seen as a good omen. Unfortunately, no being, no matter how small, escapes the corrupting grasp of the Shroud.”
  • Hollow Cyclops Head: “Its only eye still aimlessly rolled around in its socket before the beheading. Eventually, though, it spilled out.”
  • Hollow Titan Head: “The Hollow Titan wears no face, only a featureless mask, with his plume swaying slightly with each step.”
  • Hollow Wispwyvern Head: “It broke your bones with bones. Seemed only fair to take a few of its own. The head’s still intact — makes for a decent trophy.”
  • Hydrak’Dal Head: “The head of a Drak’Dal tribe leader. You’ve severed it from its neck, but in its place, two new ones will form — figuratively speaking. Collect multiple Hydrak’Dal Heads to craft the Trophy.”
  • Scavenger Matron Helmet: “She is less fearsome without her helmet. The acidic scent lingers, however.”
  • Scavenger Tyrant Head: “Her seven glowing red eyes still carry an unsettling weight, but her whip is gone, her power stripped away. You can take her head without worry now.”
  • Vorgoth’s Eye: “A massive ocular core, torn from Vorgoth, or what was left of him. Inside, faint arcs of energy still flicker.”
  • Vukah Brawler Head: “The tusks remain dangerous since they don’t dull after death. Never stumble!”
