Fell Banshees are floating Fell enemies, Shroud creatures that are the only source of Aerated Banshee Gel in Enshrouded 1.0. They show up in every region: the Springlands, Revelwood, Nomad Highlands, Kindlewastes, Blackmire, Albaneve Summits, Veilwater Basin, and Cinder’s Cradle.
Quick answer: Defeat Fell Banshees. Each one drops 2 Aerated Banshee Gel, and the rarer Fell Shackled Banshee drops 4.
Where to find Fell Banshees
Because Banshees are Shroud creatures, search in Shroud territory and its surroundings. Your first encounter may be nearby: these enemies also inhabit the Springlands, where the game begins. Their availability varies by region:
- Highest spawn rates: Kindlewastes, Revelwood, and Nomad Highlands.
- Found in these regions too: Springlands, Blackmire, Albaneve Summits, Veilwater Basin, and Cinder’s Cradle.
- Hollow Halls: one Fell Banshee sits inside a Hollow Halls.
- Fell Shackled Banshee: Kindlewastes, Veilwater Basin, Cinder’s Cradle, Nomad Highlands, and Albaneve Summits.
If you want gel quickly, go to the Kindlewastes or Nomad Highlands. Both regions have plenty of regular Banshees and also have the Shackled variant, which gives double the gel.

What Fell Banshees drop
Gel drops on every kill, so you never have to grind for a lucky roll. The other loot works differently and rolls several times per kill.

Possible drops include Gem of Bloodlust, Gem of Swiftness, Gem of Battle Mania, Gem of Currents, Gem of Aerobatics, Gem of Cleansing, and Gem of Destiny.
The gel’s in-game description says, “A lightweight, protective gel. Has properties of Fell magic. Crafting Ingredient: Primarily used for crafting armor.”
Aerated Banshee Gel recipes
Most recipes use the gel for armor, as the item text says. The Alchemist also uses it for a wand, a ward, and a healing spell. Each Alchemist Apprentice piece costs 2 gel. Every other recipe costs one.
