FC 26: Every 98+ FOF and FUTTIES T1-T4 Player Pick SBC Reward

The full pool, the nine squads you need to submit, and what the pick actually excludes.

The 1 of 3 98+ FOF or FUTTIES T1-T4 Player Pick is live in EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Team, and it’s the kind of set that only shows up when the power curve has nowhere left to climb. Nine squads in, and you walk out with a choice of three players rated 98 or higher.

Quick answer: Submit nine squads (three at 90 rating, four at 91, two at 92) to earn a guaranteed pick of three FOF items released after June 5th or FUTTIES Team 1-4 items rated 98+. FOF Greats of the Game and FUTTIES Icons are not in the pool. The set is repeatable once and refreshes every two days.

The nine squads you have to submit

Every challenge is a straight team rating requirement. There are no league, nation, or special-card conditions attached to any of the nine, which makes solving them mechanical but expensive. Expect to burn through roughly 500,000 coins of fodder across the full set.

ChallengeRequirementPack reward
90-Rated Squad (x3)Min. Team Rating: 901x Jumbo Gold Pack each
91-Rated Squad (x4)Min. Team Rating: 911x Premium Electrum Players Pack each
92-Rated Squad (x2)Min. Team Rating: 921x Premium Mixed Players Pack each

Finishing all nine hands over the 1 of 3 98+ FOF or FUTTIES Player Pick itself, on top of the individual packs. The set can be completed once more after that, and it refreshes on a two-day cycle.

What’s excluded from the pick

Two exclusions define the whole pool. FOF Greats of the Game items, the dynamic Icon and Hero cards that upgraded through the summer tournaments, do not appear here. Neither do FUTTIES Icons. Only standard player items from those campaigns are eligible.

There’s also a date cutoff on the Festival of Football side. Only FOF items released after June 5th qualify, which is why the pool leans on Path to Glory, Glory Hunters, Phenoms, Star Performers, and Summer Stars rather than the earliest FOF drops. On the FUTTIES side, all four teams are represented.

The pick draws from nine campaigns: PTG, Glory Hunters, Phenoms, Star Performers, Summer Stars, and FUTTIES Teams 1 through 4. Summer Stars accounts for the largest single chunk of the 98+ pool by a wide margin.

This is the deepest section of the pool, split cleanly between 99-rated Spain-heavy items and a set of 98-rated global names.

Note: Laporte and Bellingham each appear twice across the pool, once as a Path to Glory item and once as a Summer Stars item. They are separate cards, not duplicates of the same one.

Why FUTTIES items behave differently

If you land a FUTTIES card from this pick, it will arrive with no PlayStyles and no PlayStyle+ attached. That’s intentional. Regular FUTTIES player items ship blank and are shaped through PlayStyle Lab Evolutions, with the campaign raising the Evolution cap to four PlayStyle+.

Every FUTTIES item also carries at least one 5-Star Skill Moves or 5-Star Weak Foot rating and four alternate positions. So a 98-rated FUTTIES pull is not a finished card in the way a Summer Stars 99 is. You’ll need to spend Evolution slots on it before it plays at its ceiling.

How to confirm the pick worked

After the ninth squad is submitted, the pick pack lands in your unassigned items alongside the nine individual challenge packs. Opening it presents three cards side by side, and the choice is locked once you confirm. All three will be rated 98 or above, so there is no floor risk on the rating itself.

The most common reason the set stalls is a squad rating that reads correctly in the builder but falls short after chemistry is factored out. Team rating for these challenges is calculated from the eleven players you submit, independent of chemistry, so check the rating figure in the submission screen rather than assuming a squad that “looks” 91 will pass.

With nine squads and a 500K-ish fodder bill, this only makes sense if you’re sitting on surplus 90-plus rated cards from the season’s SBC grind. If you’re buying the fodder outright, the value swings hard on which three names appear, and the pool is broad enough that a Summer Stars 99 and a FUTTIES Team 4 98 are equally plausible outcomes.
