Nagomi is the most forgiving of the seven Ancient Idols on Skycrest, and its five trials are the quickest route to an Ancient Idol Charm in Fisch. Four of the tasks are simple time sinks. The fifth one, a Secret-rarity crab pulled from a Crab Cage, is the only part that needs specific gear and conditions.
Quick answer: Stand still for 60 seconds, pet a companion 10 times, rod-catch 20 Common-to-Rare fish, collect 100 catches from Crab Cages, then cage one Grandpa Horseshoe Crab in the Desolate Deep using Golden Shrimp Bait. Talk to the Nagomi Idol again afterward to receive the Relaxation Charm.
Nagomi Idol location on Skycrest Island
Skycrest sits above the Fischfest area, so you get there in two hops. From Moosewood, take the large pink clam teleporter next to the leaderboard at roughly (350, 135, 250). If you have enough Fischfest bestiary progress, the Magic Conch does the same job.
Once you land on Fischfest, grab a boat from the Shipwright and sail toward the vertical waterfall at about (-25700, 2591, -4712). Swim straight up through it and you surface on the floating island.

The Nagomi Idol itself is at approximately (-26193, 3083, -4550). Interact with it once to activate the trial set, then open your Quests menu to watch the five counters tick over as you play.

Add to Google Preferences →All five Nagomi trial requirements
| Trial | Requirement | What counts |
|---|---|---|
| A Relaxing Moment | Stand still for 60 seconds straight | No character or camera movement |
| Relaxing Companionship | Interact with a Companion 10 times | One companion, 10 pets |
| A Relaxing Catch | Directly catch 20 fish | Common, Uncommon, Unusual or Rare, rod only |
| More Relaxing Catches | Directly catch 100 fish with Crab Cages | Anything pulled from a cage |
| True Relaxation | Catch 1 Grandpa Horseshoe Crab with Crab Cages | Cage placed in the Desolate Deep |
The two catch trials are separate pools. Cage pulls never advance the 20-fish rod trial, and rod catches never advance the 100-cage trial.
Fastest order to clear the first four trials

Grandpa Horseshoe Crab conditions in the Desolate Deep
The final trial is the only real gear check in the set. The Grandpa Horseshoe Crab is a Secret-rarity creature, and it only comes out of a Crab Cage placed in the Desolate Deep.
| Condition | Detail |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Secret |
| Location | Desolate Deep |
| Weather | Clear or Rain |
| Season | Spring |
| Preferred bait | Golden Shrimp Bait |
| Cycle | Any |
How to claim the Relaxation Charm
Filling the fifth counter does not hand you anything on its own. Travel back to the Nagomi Idol on Skycrest and interact with it one more time to close out the set.

You know it worked when an Idol Favor Up! notification fires, followed by the message unlocking the Relaxation Charm. Open your Crest Amulet afterward and equip it.
| Relaxation Charm | Detail |
|---|---|
| Level 1 effect | Resilience +4% / +2% |
| Levelling method | Catching fish on Skycrest while equipped |
| Slot | Crest Amulet, up to nine Charms with enough Idol Favor |
Why a Nagomi trial counter is not updating
If one number refuses to move, the cause is almost always a mismatch between what you are doing and what that specific trial tracks.
| Symptom | Cause |
|---|---|
| 60-second timer resets | Camera movement counts as moving |
| 20-fish counter stuck | Cage catches do not count, rod only |
| 100-cage counter stuck | Rod catches do not count toward this one |
| Crab never appears | Cage placed outside the Desolate Deep |
| Crab rate feels low | Not using Golden Shrimp Bait |
| No reward after all five | You have not talked to the idol again |
There is a second payoff worth knowing about. Ryusei, standing nearby at roughly (-26331, 3150, -4459), only opens his limited rod wish once you have finished five trials from a single Ancient Idol, and Nagomi is the least demanding way to hit that bar. The wish does not drop a rod into your inventory, though. It starts the quest attached to whichever vaulted rod you pick.
