Webby Winston won’t open the Webridden Cavern until you’ve trick-or-treated at every house in Caustic Hallow, the FischFright 3 event island in Fisch. There are 16 doors, each with a number plaque. Most are clustered around the village fountain, but a few sit on hilltops and cliffs where they’re easy to walk past. The quest log counts each house separately, so a single skipped door is enough to stall the whole quest.
Quick answer: Wear the Candy Bucket and knock with [E] at houses 111, 167, 249, 293, 358, 374, 429, 467, 477, 506, 632, 666, 745, 813, 891, and 979. Then return to Webby Winston and talk to him.
Webby Winston quest requirements before you knock
FischFright 3 began on October 17, 2026; its end date has not been announced. The house counter won’t advance until a few requirements are met:
- You must be on Caustic Hallow, the event island where all the trick-or-treat houses are located.
- The quest must be active. Accepting it from Webby Winston opens the 0/16 tracker.
- The Candy Bucket must be in your hand. The game adds it to your inventory automatically when you reach the island.
- A GPS is optional, but it lets you check your position against the coordinates below.
If you knock with anything else equipped, the game responds with “I need to hold out a Candy Bucket.” and the house doesn’t count.

The entries below form a single route, beginning by the houses near the Flying Dutchman landing and finishing on the cliffs beside Scarecrow’s Maze. You can visit them in any order; the tracker counts houses regardless of sequence.

In the Pumpkin Patch, the house beside Pumpkin Pete is 358. Although its glowing sign may resemble 355, the quest records it as 358. Neither the cathedral nor the large hilltop mansion has a door to knock on, so leave them out.
Route through Caustic Hallow, door by door
Every house works the same way. Walk up to the door until the [E] Knock prompt appears, press it, and choose “Treat!” or “Trick!” when the resident asks. The loop below covers the low village first, then the Pumpkin Patch, and finishes on the high ground.
Fountain row: 477, 891, 745, 429
Start with the purple house 477, the last building in the row that runs from the fountain toward the Flying Dutchman.

Beside a pumpkin-filled cart and a glowing jack-o’-lantern is the orange house numbered 891.

To get back to the fountain, retrace the road. On its left is the purple house 745. Selecting “Treat!” gives you the reward at the doorstep.

House 429 is directly across the street from 745. The “You received” notification confirms the knock went through.

Bridge and signpost cluster: 506, 293, 167, 374, 111, 632
Leave the fountain on the right-hand path and continue to the little bridge beside a three-way signpost. Just past the corner, the first house is 506; check by its entrance for the number sign and the pumpkin outside.

Beside the bridge, house 293 is perched on a low rise behind the signpost. Continue left from there: you’ll reach blue house 167, then 374 farther along. House 111 is on the opposite side of the street from 374.

Return to the three-way junction, then ascend the hill overlooking it. At the summit, above the rest of this group of houses, is 632. Look uphill from the signpost to find it.
Pumpkin Patch: 249, 358, 467
At the signpost, take the branch leading toward the Pumpkin Patch. Pumpkin Pete stands beside house 249. To Pete’s left is 358, identifiable by its glowing sign. Across the street, house 467 is partly hidden behind the large pumpkin king statue.
Merchant road and cliffs: 666, 979, 813
Starting at the fountain, take the road to the left and pass the Merchant. Just past him, house 666 stands on your left. Cross the bridge ahead, turn left, and climb up to house 979 on the elevated ground.
For the final door, continue straight from the same bridge and ascend toward Scarecrow’s Maze. Leave the maze alone; circle its right edge along the cliffs to reach house 813. You can barely make out its number from the path, so players overlook this door more than any other. A glider can help you handle the drops between the cliffs and the village, though deployment requires being airborne.
Treat or Trick: what the doors pay out
Each knock opens a short dialogue, and the resident asks “Trick or treat?” Either answer counts toward the quest. The rewards are different, though. “Treat!” usually returns between 8 and 16 Treats, sometimes with a FischFright event fish added to your inventory. “Trick!” is a gamble. Some residents just insult you, and at least one pays far more than a treat would.
| House | Choice | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| 477 | Treat! | +11 Treats |
| 891 | Treat! | +16 Treats |
| 429 | Treat! | +15 Treats |
| 745 | Treat! | +10 Treats |
| 506 | Treat! | Treats and an event fish |
| 632 | Trick! | No reward, brushed off |
| 167 | Treat! | +9 Treats and a Sparkling Blobfish |
| 293 | Treat! | +16 Treats and a Tentacle Jellyfish |
| 374 | Treat! | +14 Treats and a Luminous Lamprey |
| 111 | Treat! | +12 Treats |
| 249 | Treat! | +11 Treats and a Haunted Lamprey |
| 358 | Treat! | +8 Treats |
| 467 | Treat! | +14 Treats and a Salty Trout |
| 813 | Trick! | +30 Treats |
| 979 | Treat! | +15 Treats |
| 666 | Trick! | No reward, “Go read a book!” |
At 632, “Trick!” gets you “Trick? Then here’s mine. Goodnight!” and nothing else. At 813, the same answer pays 30 Treats, roughly double a normal treat. If you want the most Treats from the route, pick “Treat!” everywhere except 813.
Confirming 16/16 and finishing Webby Winston’s quest
Each successful knock triggers a “You received +X Treats” notification and increases the quest counter by one. When the counter reaches 16/16, return to Webby Winston and speak with him. His response indicates your progress:
- Houses incomplete: “Not yet. Have you visited every single doorstep in the village for treats?”
- Houses complete: he moves on to request 10 fish carrying the Webbed mutation, caught in the cavern waters.
- Final task: hand over 15 Cobweb Cod, which are removed from your inventory when you turn in the quest.
If he continues asking about doorsteps, check your counter against the table above. The overlooked house is most often 632 on the hilltop or 813 beside Scarecrow’s Maze.
Once you finish all three objectives, choose “I’ve completed all of the tasks.” Webby Winston pays out 1,000 Treats and 8,000 XP, and the silk blocking the cavern’s inner passage dissolves. That opens the pedestal where the Webweaver Rod sells for 1,000 Treats, so the quest reward covers the rod exactly.
