Crystal locations across Moosewood, Roslit Bay, Forsaken Shores, Snowcap Island, and the Lost Jungle, plus what waits inside.

The sealed door at Skycrest sits between you and Abaia’s Chamber, and it only responds to Sky Crystals. Five of them are scattered across the older islands in Fisch, and each one is locked behind a different task, from a simple climb to a 500,000 C$ purchase.

Quick answer: Collect the Lighthouse, Campfire, Skull, Icy, and Living Sky Crystals, carry them to the door at Skycrest, and place each one in its slot. Your Idol Favor level needs to be high enough to set a crystal safely, so build that up alongside the hunt.

All five Sky Crystals for the Abaia Chamber door

Every crystal is tied to a named island, and none of them overlap. Here is the full set in one place.

Note: the Keeper of the Sky’s wider questline asks for 10 Sky Crystals in total, spread across Moosewood, Terrapin Island, Roslit Bay, Snowcap Island, and beyond. The five listed above are the ones tied to the initial gate at Skycrest. Some players report the door opening after only four are seated, so check the slots after each placement rather than assuming you need every crystal in hand first.

What to prepare before you start collecting

Three of the five crystals have hard prerequisites. Sorting these out first saves a lot of back-and-forth between islands.

  • Idol Favor: the Skycrest progression level. A higher level is required to place each crystal safely, so raising it is not optional.
  • A rod with the Noir enchant: Noir pushes your chances of hooking an Albino variant, which the Roslit Bay trade needs.
  • 500,000 C$: the flat asking price for the Skull Sky Crystal. There is no cheaper route to it.
  • The Temple Eye: obtained from the Jungle Adventurer NPC, and it points you toward the Forgotten Temple in the Lost Jungle.

The two crystals you can grab outright

Two of the five cost nothing but travel time. Neither involves an NPC handing them over, so grab these early to get momentum.

Lighthouse Sky Crystal at Moosewood Village

Head to the back side of Moosewood Island and find the lighthouse. Go in, climb the stairs all the way to the top, and look for the crystal tucked beneath a glass window panel at roughly GPS 686, 252, 318. It is the least demanding of the five and a good first stop.

Living Sky Crystal in the Forgotten Temple

This one sits inside the Forgotten Temple in the Lost Jungle. Speak to the Jungle Adventurer NPC to pick up the Temple Eye, which is what makes the temple findable. Once you are inside, the Living Sky Crystal is a straight collection.

The two crystals locked behind NPC quests

Roslit Bay and Snowcap Island each hand over a crystal, but only after you finish a small job for a local. These are the two that can stall you if you turn up unprepared.

Campfire Sky Crystal at Roslit Bay

Travel to Roslit Bay and speak to the NPC near the camp to accept the quest. He is after an Albino fish, and specifically one caught up at Skycrest rather than anywhere else.
Return to Skycrest and fish with a rod carrying the Noir enchant. Albino variants are rare rolls, so Noir is the practical way to make the attempt worthwhile instead of grinding blind.
Bring the Albino fish back to Roslit Bay and hand it in. The NPC trades you the Campfire Sky Crystal on the spot.

Icy Sky Crystal at Snowcap Island

Climb Snowcap Island up to Upper Snowcap and find Wilson. Talk to him to start the task, which is logged as Wilson’s Lost Rod.
Work your way down the cliffside near his spot to recover the rod he dropped. Take the descent carefully, since a fall means climbing the whole slope again.
Carry the rod back up to Wilson and give it to him. He rewards you with the Icy Sky Crystal.

Buying the Skull Sky Crystal at Forsaken Shores

The Skull Sky Crystal is a straight cash purchase. Sail to Forsaken Shores and head into the cave, where a pirate NPC sells it for 500,000 C$. There is no quest attached and no discount, so if your balance is short, sell your stock before making the trip.

Placing the crystals and opening the door

Return to Skycrest with the crystals in your inventory and walk up to the sealed door. The empty slots around it are where each crystal goes.
Equip a crystal and stand at its slot until the on-screen prompt appears, naming the crystal and offering the place action. Press the key shown to seat it.

The place prompt appears once you are in position with a Sky Crystal ready.
Repeat for the remaining crystals. The door reacts once enough of them are seated, and the entrance to Abaia’s Chamber opens.

You will know it worked when the door itself moves and the chamber interior becomes walkable. If the slot ignores you, the usual causes are a crystal that is not equipped, standing slightly out of the prompt’s range, or an Idol Favor level that is still too low to place that crystal.

What is inside Abaia’s Chamber

Past the door sits the Fire of Spirits, where you can offer caught fish to feed the flame. Growing it raises nearby luck and pushes weather spawn rates up for everyone in the area, and enough offerings eventually trigger the Abaia Hunt.

The chamber is also where the Exotic Abaia can be fished. The legendary beast has to be chased through the subterranean outer ponds to strip its barrier before you face it here, and it fights back with a biting attack you need to dodge.

Because Idol Favor gates the crystal placements, the fastest route through the whole thing is to raise your Favor level while you collect. Fishing at Skycrest, clearing Ancient Idol trials, and taking on Master Hiroto’s timed challenges all feed the same progression bar, so the crystals will be ready to place by the time you have all five.
