Fisch: How to Get the Holy Title and Carbon Crate

Both items gate the Rescue Nate questline, and each comes from a separate, repeatable source.

The Rescue Nate questline in Fisch asks for two items that stall most players at the same point. One is a random title drop tied to a shop purchase, and the other is a crate you pull out of the water. Neither depends on a fixed quest step, so both come down to repeating the right action until it lands.

Quick answer: Each Lantern purchase from Moosewood’s Lantern Keeper gives a 2% roll for the Holy Title. Use a Magnet Rod and Magnet Bait to fish up the Carbon Crate in the Open Ocean.

How to get the Holy Title in Fisch

Completing a quest or meeting a requirement will not grant the Holy Title. Instead, each time you purchase a Lantern from the Lantern Keeper at Moosewood, you have a 2% (1 in 50) chance of receiving the title as a random reward. It is awarded with the Fairy Lantern.

Travel to Moosewood and find the Lantern Keeper. The NPC stands at GPS (710, 165, 335) next to the lighthouse. If you cannot see it there, check the second spot behind the Crew Shop at (665, 165, 275).
Interact with the Lantern Keeper and buy a Lantern. Each Lantern costs around 1,000 C$. The purchase either gives you a normal Lantern or, on the 2% roll, the Fairy Lantern that carries the title.
Keep buying until the on-screen notification reads that you have unlocked “The Holy.” This is pure repetition, so stock up on C$ before you start.

To wear it, open the in-game Settings menu, go to Titles, and select The Holy to equip it.

A server with high overall luck can shorten the grind, so swap servers if the title is not dropping.

How to get the Carbon Crate in Fisch

The Carbon Crate is a Rare, regionless catch, which means it can appear in any body of water. Open ocean is the most reliable place to farm it. Its preferred bait is Magnet, and it has a low resilience of 50, so the reel-in is quick and steady.

Take out your boat and head straight away from the islands until the game tells you that you have entered The Ocean.
Equip the Magnet Rod and Magnet Bait. This combination is the best setup for farming any crate, so stick with it rather than switching rods.
Keep casting until you land the Carbon Crate. A Glitched Potion can hand you a second copy as a duplicate drop, which speeds up the grind if you need more than one.

If fishing it out is taking too long, the Travelling Merchant sells Carbon Crates for 490 C$ each. The merchant’s position moves between spots and only stocks three random items at a time, so it will not always be carrying one.

Confirming both items for Nate

You will know the title is yours when the unlock pop-up for The Holy appears after a Lantern purchase, and the title then shows up under Titles in Settings. The Carbon Crate is confirmed by the “You just caught a Carbon Crate” message during the reel-in, after which it sits in your fishing inventory. With both in hand, you can return to the Rescue Nate questline and continue past this stage.
