Fortnite Zero Point Sprite: How to Unlock the Rarest Runners Sprite

Where the Zero Point Sprite drops, how to boost your odds, and the safe way to extract it in Chapter 7 Season 3.

Where the Zero Point Sprite drops, how to boost your odds, and the safe way to extract it in Chapter 7 Season 3.

The Zero Point Sprite is the rarest Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3: Runners, and there is no map marker or fixed spawn that hands it to you. It only comes out of Sprite Chests, and the odds of one appearing are extremely low. The good news is that you can stack the deck in your favor by targeting the right chests, playing at the right time, and securing the drop the moment it appears.

Quick answer: Open as many Sprite Chests as possible, prioritizing Vaults (Epic Sprite Vaults give three), play during Mastery Monday for boosted Mythic drop rates, or have a friend drop one for you, then Extract it with a Portable Extractor to lock it into your Collection.

Where the Zero Point Sprite comes from

There is no dedicated location for the Zero Point Sprite. It is not tied to a named area, a boss, or a landmark. Instead, it can appear inside any Sprite Chest, exactly like a common Sprite, but with a drop chance that sits around 0.03%. That means you could open dozens of chests in a row and never see it, which is why volume matters more than location.

Because the drop is random, the fastest path is opening the highest possible number of Sprite Chests per match rather than searching a specific spot on the island.

Best ways to increase your chances

Since the Zero Point Sprite is pure luck from chests, your job is to maximize the number of quality chests you crack and to play when the rates are boosted.

Hit the Vaults. Every Vault on the island contains guaranteed Sprite Chests, and Epic Sprite Vaults hand out three at once. Rotate through Vaults as often as you can each match to open the most chests in the least time.

Play during Mastery Monday. Every Monday from 9 AM ET through 9 AM ET the following day, all Legendary and Mythic Sprites get boosted drop rates. Since the Zero Point Sprite is a Mythic, this is the strongest window to farm it.
Trade for one. If a friend already owns the Zero Point Sprite, they can bring it into a match and drop it for you to pick up and Extract. The original owner does not lose it permanently, because they can summon it back later with Sprite Dust.

Extract it or you lose it

Finding the Zero Point Sprite in a match is only half the job. You must Extract it to secure it in your Collection. If you leave the match without extracting, and you have never extracted one before, the Sprite is gone, and you will have to find it again.

You can extract at Extraction Sites, but because this Sprite is so rare, a Portable Extractor is the safer choice since it lets you secure the Sprite on the spot without traveling to a fixed point. Portable Extractors are purchased at Extraction Sites or awarded for completing Mastery Quests.

Note: You know it worked when the Zero Point Sprite appears in your Collection after a successful extraction. If you later lose it from your Collection, you can summon it again for 7,500 Sprite Dust, though doing so resets its level.

What the Zero Point Sprite does

When equipped, the Zero Point Sprite spawns a Shield Bubble Jr. whenever you use a healing item on yourself, such as a Chug Jug, Shield Potion, or Med Kit. Splashes and grenades do not trigger it. The bubble deploys automatically while you heal, which is especially useful in Zero Build where cover is scarce.

The bubble’s duration grows as the Sprite levels up, starting at 6 seconds and climbing to 10 seconds at max level.

Adding the Zero Point Sprite to your Collection for the first time also unlocks it as a Pilot for the Guardian Battle Pass skin, so there is a cosmetic payoff beyond the healing effect.

Zero Point Sprite variants

The base Zero Point Sprite is Mythic, and there are several rarer cosmetic variants. Special variants can carry different in-game effects than the base version. The Gem variant has not been released yet.

There is no shortcut around the drop rate, so treat every Vault run and every Mastery Monday as your best shot. Keep a Portable Extractor ready before you open chests, and the moment a Zero Point Sprite appears, extract it immediately to make sure the rarest Sprite of the season stays in your Collection.
