Frost Alloy is a crafted material in VV Ultimatum that you need during Quincy progression, specifically as one of the three ingredients for the Sanrei Glove. You cannot loot it as a single drop. Instead, you assemble it from three smaller components, each gathered in a different way.
Quick answer: Craft Frost Alloy by combining one Frost Deviant Shard, one Great Soul Essence, and one Spirit Alloy. Frost Deviant Shard drops from Rogue Quincy Archers near the AirWalk tower, Great Soul Essence is made from 5 Soul Essences, and Spirit Alloy is bought from the merchant inside Arctic Town.

Frost Alloy crafting components
Frost Alloy comes together from three parts. Gather all three first, then craft. The table below lists each component and exactly where it comes from.
| Component | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Frost Deviant Shard | Kill Rogue Quincy Archers (red hats, red outfit, bow) near the AirWalk tower |
| Great Soul Essence | Combine 5 regular Soul Essences, which drop from Hollows in the Outskirts |
| Spirit Alloy | Buy from the merchant inside Arctic Town |

Frost Deviant Shard: Head to the AirWalk tower and look for Rogue Quincy Archers. They wear red hats and red outfits and carry bows. These are the same enemies that have a tiny chance to drop the Broken Quincy Medallion, so farming them serves a double purpose for the Sanrei Glove recipe.
Great Soul Essence: This is itself a combined item. Collect 5 regular Soul Essences from Hollows in the Outskirts, then merge them into one Great Soul Essence. Plan to grind several Hollow kills, since you need a full set of five before the upgrade.
Spirit Alloy: Travel to Arctic Town and visit the merchant inside. Spirit Alloy is sold there directly, so this is the most straightforward of the three components once you reach the area.

Why you need Frost Alloy
Frost Alloy is one of three materials required to craft the Sanrei Glove, a key step in the Quincy path. The glove recipe is sold by an NPC in the Wandenreich for 300 Soul Tokens, and once you own the recipe, you supply the materials to craft it.
| Sanrei Glove material | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Broken Quincy Medallion | Dropped by lance-throwing NPCs in the Wandenreich or by defeating the Legion boss |
| Frost Alloy | Crafted from Frost Deviant Shard, Great Soul Essence, and Spirit Alloy |
| 2 Strange Essences | Drop from light blue Hollows, fastest at the Society Outskirts waterfall near spawn |
Once equipped, the Sanrei Glove changes your L key from its default function to Meditate, which sets up the later Letzt Stil stage of Quincy progression.

The most efficient route is to farm the AirWalk tower archers for Frost Deviant Shards while you wait on the chance for a Broken Quincy Medallion, stack five Soul Essences from Outskirts Hollows for the Great Soul Essence, then make a quick stop at the Arctic Town merchant for Spirit Alloy. With all three in hand, the craft completes and Frost Alloy is ready to feed into the Sanrei Glove recipe.
