The Electricity Awakening update landed in Haze Seas on July 18, 2026, and its centerpiece is the Raijin superboss. Beating Raijin is how you unlock the Awakened Electricity Fruit, along with a new Electro V2 style, a craftable Golden Staff V2, and a fresh Sea 3 zone called Rainbow Sky Islands. The level cap also moved up, and a long list of balance tweaks came with it.
Quick answer: Reach Sea 3 and Level 42000, then charge all four Lightning Pillars on Rainbow Sky Islands to spawn Raijin. Defeat it to farm Raijin’s Core, push your Electricity Fruit to 300 Mastery, and awaken it at the Poneglyph.

Electricity Awakening update patch notes

- x2 Mastery Weekends continued

Raijin superboss requirements and stats
Raijin lives on Rainbow Sky Islands in Sea 3 and is built for endgame players. It carries 378,908 health and uses both short- and long-range lightning attacks. You cannot engage it until you have reached Sea 3 and Level 42000, with a recommended range starting around Level 4500 and up. On defeat, it always drops a Raijin’s Core and a single Divine Spark, plus a Blade Fragment at a lower rate.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Location | Rainbow Sky Islands, Sea 3 |
| Health | 378,908 |
| Level requirement | 42000 |
| Spawn cooldown | 1 hour |
| Drops | Raijin’s Core (100%), Divine Spark (1), Blade Fragment (10%) |
How to spawn Raijin
Note: The pillars enter a one-hour cooldown after being charged, which blocks AFK farming and exploit attempts.
How to awaken the Electricity Fruit
Awakening Electricity ties together the Raijin fight and your Mastery grind. You need both the material drops and a maxed enough Mastery level before the Poneglyph will let you awaken.
Keep farming cores after your first awakening, because the extra moves each require their own Raijin’s Core to unlock.
Balance changes and fixes
Beyond the Electricity content, the update reworks several prices, cooldowns, and move interactions across multiple fruits and systems.
| Change | Details |
|---|---|
| Dragon Hybrid X held variant | Damage increased from 1.25x to 1.5x |
| Phoenix V heavenly tornadoes | Grab/stun duration reduced from 2s to 1s |
| Dragon Claw V2 | Cost reduced from 500 Gems to 250 Gems |
| Observation Haki (Sea 1) | Price cut from 150,000 to 50,000 |
| Observation Haki cooldown | Changed from 0.5s to 2s |
| Mythic fruit stock chance | Reduced from 0.9% to 0.3% |
| Trade item add/remove | Added a 1-second cooldown |
The rest of the notes cover quality-of-life and bug fixes:
- Added a “Low VFX” setting for low-end devices.
- Added a top reputation leaderboard.
- New M1 VFX for Electricity.
- Optimized several Sea 2 island quest NPC placements.
- Added an arrow pointing to the Poneglyph in Sea 1 after you speak to the sailor.
- Fixed the Title Hoarder title.
- Fixed Mythical chests not giving Gems.
- Fixed move stacking for Dragon Hybrid X, Leopard Base X and V, and Phoenix Hybrid X.
- Added tiny endlags to Dragon full form F and Base F to stop back-to-back stun locks.
- Added endlag to Okuchi F (0.15 base, 0.10 full form) to avoid stun locks.
- Fixed NPC dialogue breaking permanently when you reset mid-interaction.
- Fixed using sword skills while holding any fruit move.
If your goal is the awakened Electricity Fruit, the main time sink is reaching Level 42000 and grinding Mastery to 300. Because Raijin’s Core is a guaranteed drop, you are fighting the boss cooldown and your own progression rather than drop-rate luck.
