The second half of Honkai Star Rail 4.4 brings back three familiar 5-star units on rerun banners: Anaxa, Cerydra, and Aventurine. None of them are new, and none of them sit at the top of the current meta, which is built heavily around Elation and Follow-up Attack damage. That makes the pull decision less about raw power and more about whether they slot into teams you already own.
Quick answer: Anaxa is a moderate pull worth considering only if you like him or run him with specific supports; Cerydra is a low-value pull unless you own Phainon or Anaxa; Aventurine is a very low-value pull unless you are a newer player with no other 5-star sustain.
Pull value at a glance for all three units
All three characters can still perform in endgame content, but only with the right teammates. Here is how they compare on role, pull value, and the condition that makes them worthwhile.
| Character | Role | Pull value | Pull only if |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anaxa | Wind Erudition DPS | Moderate | You want him as a character or run his specific support setup |
| Cerydra | Wind Harmony support | Low | You own Phainon or Anaxa |
| Aventurine | Imaginary Preservation sustain | Very low | You lack any other 5-star sustain |

Add to Google Preferences →Anaxa: A versatile DPS that still needs the right supports
Anaxa is a Wind Erudition damage dealer who started life mostly as a sub-DPS for The Herta. Over time he has grown into a unit that can carry his own teams in a lot of recent endgame content. His standout trait is the ability to implant missing weaknesses onto enemies, which means he stays useful against a wide range of enemy types regardless of their native weakness.
The catch is that his damage depends heavily on very specific supports. Without them, his output drops noticeably, and other main DPS units in the current meta can easily out-damage him. He works best either as a solo hypercarry with buffers like Cyrene and Cerydra, or as a second DPS paired with The Herta.
That puts his pull value at moderate. If you enjoy the character or already have the pieces to build around him, he is a reasonable addition. If you are chasing pure meta value, there are stronger DPS options this patch.
Cerydra: A niche support locked to two teams
Cerydra is a Wind Harmony support, and she is extremely specialized. On her own she brings almost nothing to a team. Her value comes entirely from her skill duplication mechanic, which lets a chosen ally use their skill twice in a row through her Coup de Main effect. That opens huge burst windows for the right carry.

The problem is that only Phainon and Anaxa really benefit from that skill duplication, since both deal most of their damage through skills. For those two units, Cerydra is a best-in-slot support. Outside of them, she has no home, and other Harmony units will always be a better fit for a normal team.
Her overall pull value is low. If you do not own Phainon or Anaxa, there is no reason to pull for her. If you do own either, she can noticeably raise the ceiling of that team.
Aventurine: A strong shield that has been left behind
When Aventurine released back in 2024, he was one of the best sustains in the game. His shield still has near-100% uptime, and he scales off DEF to provide shielding, an Effect RES buff, and some damage of his own. On paper he is reliable and fits into almost any composition.

The issue is that newer sustains have overtaken him. Units like Dan Heng Permansor Terrae and Hyacine do the same defensive job while also buffing the team and pushing up overall damage. Aventurine only offers shielding, and in tough endgame content that is no longer enough to guarantee him a slot.
His pull value is very low as a result. The main exception is a newer player who has no other 5-star sustain on their roster, in which case a reliable shield unit is a genuine upgrade. Everyone else can safely skip.
Who should actually spend Stellar Jade here
The decision comes down to what your account is missing. None of these three are must-pulls for the current meta, so treat them as targeted picks rather than banner priorities.
- Pull Anaxa if you like him or already run the supports that make his Wind Erudition kit shine.
- Pull Cerydra only if you own Phainon or Anaxa and want their best-in-slot Harmony support.
- Pull Aventurine only if you are a newer player without any other 5-star sustain.
If none of those conditions apply to your roster, holding your Stellar Jade for a unit that fits the Elation and Follow-up Attack meta is the safer play. These reruns reward existing investments far more than they reward blind pulls.
