A Drip creature is a rare version of an ordinary fish. It has a deliberately goofy, off-model look and, most importantly, its name appears in rainbow-colored text. A normal fish shows white text on the “Creature Caught” prompt, so the rainbow coloring is the only cue you need to spot one. There is no special lure for them, so keep fishing the normal pool until a rainbow one appears.

Most spins hand back a common skin, but the machine can also land on a Legendary weapon skin. Hitting a triple jackpot is what pushes the payout into that top tier. The moment you pull a Legendary skin, the GOLD GOLD GOLD achievement unlocks.
There is no crafting recipe, quest gate, or shop for Legendary skins. The reel is pure RNG, and the exact odds are not shown in-game. Inserting a Drip creature guarantees a spin, not a Legendary result, so treat this as a repeat farm rather than a fixed number of attempts.
Farm Drip creatures without losing anything
Spending a Drip creature at the machine costs you nothing permanent. They respawn indefinitely, so anything you gamble away comes back the next time you fish. The only real currency is your time, which is why grinding hard for a Legendary is safe. A bad streak of duplicate skins just means going back out to catch another rainbow fish.
Tip: Since Drip creatures never run out, keep one on hand whenever you pass a Reel of Fortune and spin as you go. You will chip away at the Legendary chase without making a dedicated trip, and the same hunting also counts toward collecting every Drip variant.
If you would rather roll with every machine available, the post-credits phase helps. After you finish the game, you wake back up on the first island with all five islands open and your upgrades intact, so you can farm and spin anywhere without progression blocking you. That is a convenience, not a requirement, because you can start rolling long before the ending.
Equip a skin after you win it
Winning a skin does not apply it automatically. Equip the weapon or item that received the skin, then press Z or C, depending on your keyboard layout, to cycle through that item’s available appearances. The change is visual only and never alters damage or any other stat, so pick whichever look you prefer.
