Cosmic Being is the Garou-inspired melee style added to Sailor Piece with the Sea 2 update. It sits behind a single gatekeeper: the Cosmic Being world boss on Punch Island, which drops every crafting material, the required title, and occasionally the melee itself. The grind is long because of a 30-minute respawn timer and a 500B HP fight, not because the route is complicated.

Sea 2 access requirements
Cosmic Being is locked behind Sea 2, so the melee is not reachable on a fresh account. You need to clear the Sea Traveler questline on World Island first. The gate is stat- and progression-based rather than item-based, though two collectibles are also required.

Once Sea 2 is unlocked, use the portal to teleport directly to Punch Island.

Where to find the NPCs on Punch Island
Two NPCs matter for the full Cosmic Being route. Both sit in the town near the island entrance.
Cosmic Being seller (trainer): On top of the first building with a pink rooftop, close to the town entrance. Jump up from the front side to reach the roof.
Cosmic Being Master: On a separate rooftop marked with three question marks above its head. This NPC handles the mastery questline that unlocks the F move.
The boss itself spawns at the central four-way intersection in the middle of the city.

Materials needed to buy Cosmic Being
Every requirement comes from the Cosmic Being world boss. The melee cannot be crafted from any other source in Sea 2.

The title is the rarest drop and usually the last thing players finish. Monster Pulse is the rarest material drop, so expect it to be the bottleneck on the crafting items. There is also a small chance for the boss to drop the Cosmic Being melee or Cosmic Body directly, which skips part of the route. Treat those as bonus drops; the normal grind is still the reliable path.
Fighting the Cosmic Being world boss
The boss has roughly 500,000,000,000 HP across four stages and applies stacking buffs the moment it spawns. You need a serious damage build to bring it down in a reasonable time.

Practical approach:
- Team up with other players on the server; the HP pool is balanced around group DPS.
- Run a damage build for the boss, then swap to a luck build during the loot roll if you have a loadout for it.
- Use ranged or mobile attacks to avoid sitting inside the boss's melee range during rage.
- Increase luck stat through clans, titles, and spec passives to push material drops.

Respawn timer and server hopping
The boss respawns every 30 minutes on server time. The timer does not reset until the previous Cosmic Being has been killed, so an idle server can sit with the boss up indefinitely. There is no manual spawn mechanic.
This is why server hopping dominates the grind. Rejoining into fresh servers lets you skip the 30-minute wait and stack boss kills far faster than staying in one lobby. Expect most of your total time investment to go into hopping, not the fight itself.
Buying the melee
Step 1: Return to the Cosmic Being seller NPC on the pink rooftop once you have the title and all four materials in the correct amounts.
Step 2: Interact with the NPC and submit the items through the purchase prompt. The melee is added to your inventory immediately.

Unlocking the F move (mastery questline)
Buying the melee does not unlock its F move. The F ability and a permanent +30% damage bonus are gated behind a three-part questline from the Cosmic Being Master NPC.
Step 1: Defeat the Cosmic Being world boss 15 times. This is the longest mastery step because of the 30-minute timer. Server hop aggressively and stack kills across sessions.

Step 2: Reach floor 90 or higher in Infinity Tower 5 times. Set your floor reset in settings so you can re-enter quickly. A strong weapon or melee trivializes this compared to the boss step.
Step 3: Obtain the Astral bloodline. Blood Stones drop from any enemy or sea beast in Sea 2, and you roll them on the bloodline system the same way races work. Astral is a legendary tier roll, so expect to burn through a stockpile.

Astral is a strong reward on its own:
- +30% damage
- +10% luck multiplier
- +2% life steal
- +10% sword damage multiplier
- +35% max HP
- Passive mark: +20% sword damage and -20% damage taken for 5 seconds, on an 8-second cooldown
Once all three quests are complete, the F move and its +30% damage bonus are applied to Cosmic Being automatically.

The kit combines high single-target damage with strong AoE, and cooldowns stay short enough that the rotation flows without long idle windows. That balance is why it's currently rated among the strongest melees in Sea 2 alongside Dragon Goddess on the sword side.
Common blockers
- Boss won't spawn: The timer is 30 minutes from the last kill on that server. If nobody has killed it yet in a long-running server, it may still be up somewhere on the map — check the intersection before hopping.
- Title not dropping: At roughly 1.75% drop chance, the title is usually the last requirement. Stack luck modifiers and keep farming; there is no pity system.
- Mastery quest bugged: If a kill doesn't count toward the 15-boss requirement, make sure you dealt meaningful damage before the boss died. Leeching low damage on shared kills can miss the credit threshold.
Cosmic Being rewards patience more than skill. Lock a damage build, commit to server hopping, and treat the mastery quests as a secondary pass while you're already farming the boss for the title — the Astral bloodline you pick up along the way is worth the detour on its own.
