You only need to reach the Halloween area. Begin in the main lobby and follow the brick path toward the glowing purple portal frame, then enter it. You’ll arrive in the nighttime Halloween world, where all the torches are found.
A persistent counter reads “Skeleton torches lit” and climbs from 1/4 to 4/4 each time you interact with one. Torches sit beside clusters of candles, skeleton bones, or on raised platforms, so look for those markers as you move through the map.
You can light the torches in any order. The counter only tracks the total, so there is no fixed sequence to follow.
Where to find all 4 skeleton torches

Torch 1 — Candles on the purple platform
From the Halloween spawn path, head toward the raised purple block ringed with lit candles. The first skeleton torch stands right beside the candles. Click it to set the counter to 1/4.
Torch 2 — Inside the clock room
Look for the glass-fronted, blue-walled building with an analog clock sign above the entrance. Walk inside and follow the red carpet to the end, where the torch sits on a wooden pedestal. Interact with it to reach 2/4.
Torch 3 — Behind the pumpkins
Head back outside toward the pumpkin patch. Climb the stacked blocks and short platforms set behind the large pumpkins. The third torch rests near a pile of scattered bones. Light it to hit 3/4.
Torch 4 — Top of the red structure
Move past the cactus props and find the tall red blocky structure. Climb its stepped sides to the top platform, where the final torch sits among more skeleton pieces. Interact with it to complete 4/4.
How to confirm Mortaruga unlocked
The moment the fourth torch lights, a pop-up reads “YOU FOUND! All the skeleton torches are lit! Mortaruga Secret.” That confirmation screen is your proof the unlock worked, and Mortaruga is added to your collection.
If the banner does not appear, check the torch counter in the corner of the screen. Any value below 4/4 means one torch is still unlit, so retrace the landmarks above until the count is complete.
