How to Get the Chaos Canyon Bloxxer Badge in The Hunt: Roblox 20

The 2009 stage boils down to a 60-second tornado, four knockouts, and one pedestal back at the hub.

The 2009 stage boils down to a 60-second tornado, four knockouts, and one pedestal back at the hub.

Chaos Canyon is the 2009 stop in The Hunt: Roblox 20, and it swaps collectible hunting for straight combat. There are no eggs to paint and no maps to memorize. You survive a tornado in the hub, drop into the canyon, and start racking up knockouts until the counter fills.

Quick answer: First withstand the tornado for 60 seconds in the 2009 hub. Then score 4 KOs in Chaos Canyon; the badge unlocks as soon as the fourth knockout connects.

What you need before Chaos Canyon unlocks

The event opens years in order, so 2009 stays locked until the 2008 stage is finished and claimed. If the Chaos Canyon portal is not available yet, the problem is upstream.

  • The Rocket Arena stage for 2008 must be complete, including its ten painted eggs and five KOs.
  • The Brick-Blast Jetpack reward from 2008 needs to be claimed at the hub.
  • The 2009 NPC in the hub has to be spoken to in order to start the tornado.

Use the official The Hunt: Roblox 20 experience for the entire event; it contains the hub, portals, and reward pedestals.

Survive the 60-second tornado in the 2009 hub

Talk to the 2009 NPC in the hub and accept the task. A tornado spawns in the area as soon as the conversation ends, and the timer runs for 60 seconds.

Keep traveling away from the tornado throughout the minute. Stay on open ground, switch course as it approaches, and avoid ending up against the playable area’s edge.

The house is not shelter. Hiding inside does not stop the tornado, and it leaves you trapped in a small space.

Once the minute is up, speak to the NPC again. That closes out the hub half of the stage and opens the route to the Chaos Canyon portal.
Walk to the portal, take the Teleport prompt, and confirm the jump into Chaos Canyon.

Get 4 KOs in Chaos Canyon

Inside the canyon, the objective ignores placement and survival time. Only knockouts count, and a counter in the top-left corner tracks them as 0 / 4 KOs. Follow that counter rather than any number you have heard elsewhere, since it is the live measure of your progress.

Your hotbar is stocked with the classic Roblox toolset. Two of those tools do the job faster than the rest.

The map is tighter than Rocket Arena, so fights collapse into close quarters fast. The sword tends to be the reliable option once you are in the middle of the pack, while the launcher is better for picking off anyone crossing open ground. Keep moving between clusters of players instead of camping one spot.

Dying does not reset your progress. Trading a knockout for a death every respawn still gets you to four, so there is no reason to play defensively.

How to confirm the badge was awarded

There is no waiting period. The fourth knockout triggers a Badge Awarded notification in the bottom-right corner of the screen, with the badge name shown in the popup. The KO counter also stops at its full value, and the event prompt switches to a message telling you to head back to the hub for your prize.

If that popup never appears, check the counter before assuming the objective is broken. A counter still sitting below four simply means one of your hits was not credited as a knockout.

Claim the Crest of the Canyon reward at the hub

Leave Chaos Canyon once the badge lands. Opening the Roblox menu and choosing the option to return to The Hunt: Roblox 20 puts you straight back in the 2009 hub.
Look for the reward platform sitting near the spawn point. Interact with the pedestal, pressing E when the prompt appears, to collect the Crest of the Canyon back accessory along with the stage badges.
Confirm the accessory is in your inventory and the year shows as finished before moving on. Then interact with the progression box in the hub to teleport to the 2010 challenge.

Done in the intended order, 2009 is one of the shortest stages in the event. A minute of running from a tornado, four knockouts in a cramped arena, and a single pedestal interaction is the whole requirement, and none of it depends on winning a round or outlasting the server.
