The Sightless Oracle is a Harpoon Gun added to Fisch with The Deep update, and it is locked behind a two-quest chain given by an NPC called The Blind Oracle. There is no shop price, no crafting bench, and no drop chance involved. You earn it by finishing both objectives, and the weapon lands in your inventory once the second quest is turned in.
Quick answer: Travel to The Deep, speak to The Blind Oracle near Lower Deep at coordinates 1511, -2485, -11965, then complete Unseen Guidance (15 perfect catches in a row in the Gloomy Crevice) and Eyeless Truth (perfect-catch a Monstrous Cusk plus turn in five each of Radiant Prism Scale, Abyssal Bio-Fluid, Hardened Chitin, Refined Scrap, and Ancient Bone).

What you need before starting
The Sightless Oracle sits entirely inside The Deep content, so you must already have access to that region. That means the Deep Survey Device to walk the seafloor, and the MK II upgrade with the Light Module before you can safely enter the Gloomy Crevice. Both quests take place deep in the biome, so reaching Lower Deep is a hard prerequisite.

Quest 1: Unseen Guidance
The first task asks for 15 Perfect Catches in a row inside the Gloomy Crevice. The streak resets the moment you miss a perfect catch, so every attempt has to be clean until you hit 15 straight. Take each catch slowly rather than rushing, since one broken catch sends the counter back to zero.
Quest 2: Eyeless Truth
The second quest unlocks once Unseen Guidance is done. It combines a boss-tier perfect catch with a full material hand-in. The Monstrous Cusk requirement is specifically a Perfect Catch, not just a normal catch, so treat it as the harder half of this quest.
| Objective | Amount |
|---|---|
| Perfect Catch a Monstrous Cusk | 1 |
| Radiant Prism Scale | 5 |
| Abyssal Bio-Fluid | 5 |
| Hardened Chitin | 5 |
| Refined Scrap | 5 |
| Ancient Bone | 5 |
Note: Many of these materials overlap with other Deep questlines and rod recipes, so avoid selling early catches and drops. Fill every stack to five before returning to The Blind Oracle so you are not running back to check which item is short.
How to confirm the unlock
Turn in both completed quests to The Blind Oracle. Once the material hand-in and the Monstrous Cusk objective register, the questline closes and the Sightless Oracle is awarded directly. You will see it appear as a Harpoon Gun you can equip.
If the harpoon does not appear, the usual cause is an incomplete requirement. The most common blockers are a Monstrous Cusk caught without a perfect catch, a Gloomy Crevice streak that never reached 15 in a row, or a material stack sitting below five.
Sightless Oracle stats
The Sightless Oracle has an icy-blue crystalline design with a long blade, jagged spikes, and a glowing gem set in the center. Its shots lock onto nearby prey and grow stronger with each accurate hit. It also carries a 50% chance for the Refracted mutation.
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Location | Lower Deep |
| Source | The Blind Oracle |
| Power | 12 |
| Range | 100 studs |
| Reload | 3s |
| Velocity | 32/ps |
| Resilience | 15% |
| Accuracy | 25% |
| Max Kg | 75,000 kg |
| Mutation | 50% chance for Refracted |
Because this harpoon belongs entirely to The Deep, you will not find it at older harpoon spots. There is no legacy pickup and no crafting shortcut, so the two-quest route through The Blind Oracle is the only path to it.
