A Kingdom Hearts crossover video rendered in Fortnite’s art style has been circulating, showing Sora, Riku, Kairi, and Roxas fighting Heartless on Destiny Islands. It looks close enough to an Epic Games reveal that the first question worth answering is whether any of it is real.
Quick answer: It is a fan-made concept trailer carrying a DestinyAwaitz watermark. Epic Games has not announced a Kingdom Hearts collaboration, and none of these characters are obtainable in Fortnite.
What the Kingdom Hearts Fortnite trailer is
The video presents a fictional collaboration between Fortnite and Disney’s Kingdom Hearts. Four Kingdom Hearts characters appear as Fortnite-style 3D models, moving through a Destiny Islands setting with Fortnite traversal mechanics layered on top. It is assembled to look like a first-party reveal, complete with an ESRB “TEEN T” badge in the lower-left corner, an “In-game purchase required.” line, and standard Epic Games and Disney copyright text.
The giveaway is the credit. A “DestinyAwaitz” watermark sits at the bottom-center of the final title screen, running for the last several seconds of the video. Epic’s own trailers do not carry third-party watermarks.

Characters and Keyblades in the trailer
Four Kingdom Hearts characters appear, each in a recognizable signature outfit. Three of them are shown wielding their own Keyblade.

Roxas gets a separate sequence rather than joining the beach group. He is first shown falling backwards through a blue sky in front of a giant heart-shaped moon, then walking down a neon-lit city street with Heartless on either side of him.

The concept leans on Fortnite movement and mascots rather than Kingdom Hearts combat systems. Sora slides down wooden rails, grinds a glowing golden rail over a dock, and leaps into the air to cast a lightning-style spell that ripples across the water.
Fortnite characters also share screen time with the Kingdom Hearts cast:
- Cuddle Team Leader, Peely, Guaco, and Beef Boss pose alongside Sora, Kairi, and Riku on a wooden tower
- The Battle Bus flies past the trio on a cliff in the closing shot
- A heart-shaped moon hangs over both the group pose and the final title card

How to tell it apart from an official Fortnite reveal
Two checks settle it. First, look at the end screen for a personal watermark or handle, which is what the DestinyAwaitz credit is. Second, compare the crossover against what Epic has actually shipped.
Fortnite is currently on Chapter 7 Season 4, Override, which launched on August 20, 2026 and centers on Overrides, Lobby Hacks, Cheat Codes, and Sprites. Recent collaborations have run through Mega Man, Weezy, Naruto, Star Wars, DC, and the Overwatch heroes added in Act III. A Kingdom Hearts collaboration is not among them, and no release window for one has been given.
Copyright text and an ESRB badge are easy to copy into a video and prove nothing on their own. The copyright line in this trailer reads © 2024 Epic Games, Inc. alongside © Disney, even though it surfaced well after 2024.
