Get Angry is the first mission set in Japan in Marvel’s Wolverine, and it holds seven collectibles spread across Kabukicho’s alleys, a bar basement, an old bomb shelter and a cave system. The haul breaks down into five Material Crates, one Whisky Bottle and one Nightmare Door, and it also contains the Poseidon’s Kiss trophy.
Quick answer: Collect 5 Material Crates, 1 Whisky Bottle and 1 Nightmare Door in Mission 14. The pause-menu tracker confirms the chapter is finished when it reads 5/1/1.
Get Angry collectible checklist (Mission 14, Japan)
Work through the list in mission order rather than doubling back. Each crate gives +50 Materials, which feed suit crafting and, through that, Logan’s maximum health.
| Order | Type | Where it sits |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Material Crate | Side alley off the Kabukicho street |
| 2 | Whisky Bottle (Patch) | Hidden room off the bar’s basement bathroom |
| 3 | Material Crate | Bomb shelter entrance, past the elevator |
| 4 | Material Crate | Corridor behind crates, after the incense room |
| 5 | Material Crate | Cave, at the far end of the metal walkway |
| 6 | Nightmare Door | Cave room after the hallucination fight |
| 7 | Material Crate | Storage room by the metal shelves |
Nothing here is missable. Mission Replay from the bed in the Nightmare Cabin lets you return to Get Angry later, and anything already collected stays collected.

Add to Google Preferences →Patch Whisky Bottle and the Poseidon’s Kiss trophy
The mission’s only Whisky Bottle sits behind the bar Jean saw in her vision, and it pays out twice: the bottle itself, plus the Poseidon’s Kiss trophy and a Patch collectible entry. Bottles raise Adaptation progress, so this one is worth the short detour.

All 5 Material Crate locations in Get Angry
Alleyway crate
While you are checking the arcades on the opening street, take the narrow alley beside the one Jean’s scent trail points to. The wooden chest sits at the dead end. Claw it open before the story pulls you into the bar.
Bomb shelter crate
Past the bar, you ride the elevator down and step out into the old shelter. Turn right the moment you leave the lift and follow the rocky tunnel. The chest is on the ground near the shelter entrance.

Elevator hall crate
After the incense puzzle room, where you smash the burners to clear the red illusion, leave through the concrete corridor rather than sprinting for the marker. A short side passage on the right hides the chest behind a stack of wooden crates, near an unusable elevator at the end of the hall.
Cave crate
The cavern section has you climbing a metal ladder structure and crossing a walkway suspended over the chasm. Once you are up, turn around and cross to the far end of the bridge. The chest is sitting in the open on the ground.

Storage room crate
The last crate comes after the Nightmare Door. Force open the elevator shaft door, ride down with Jean, then follow the concrete hallway through a chain-link gate. The storage room at the end is lined with metal shelves, and the chest is on the right-hand side.

Nightmare Door: Death By 1000 Cuts trial
The mission’s single Nightmare Door appears in a candlelit cave room, straight ahead after the hallucination sequence and the black-armoured samurai fight. Approach the stone doorway, let the purple anomaly form, then pick Enter Trial.
The objective is simple but strict. You must kill the Hand ninjas with Critical Strikes specifically, and your medal is set by elapsed time, running from Bronze up through Silver, Gold and Adamantium. Every medal tier awards an AP point, so a faster clear is straightforwardly better.
- Weaken enemies first, then finish them with Critical Strikes rather than standard combos.
- The clock keeps running between kills, so do not reposition more than you need to.
- The door counts as discovered once you enter, but the memory only unlocks after you clear the trial.
When the trial ends, the prompt “Cut roots to free the memory” appears. Slash the purple roots to release a text log from Logan’s past, set at a Sapporo temple on New Year’s Eve, 1904. That memory is what counts toward the Repressed Memories trophy, so do not leave the room until you have read it out.

How to confirm the chapter is complete
Open the collectible tracker in the pause menu and check the Get Angry entry. Material Crates should read 5 of 5, Whisky Bottles 1 of 1, and Nightmare Doors 1 of 1. The Nightmare Cabin shows the same counts once Mission Replay is available.
Watch for one easy mix-up. Story objects and breakable scenery do not move the counter, so check that the number actually ticks up after each pickup instead of assuming the interaction registered. If a single category is short when you replay, jump to the matching row in the list above rather than restarting the whole mission.
Across the full campaign there are 102 collectibles, split into 68 Material Crates, 20 Whisky Bottles and 14 Nightmare Doors. Clearing Get Angry in one pass keeps three separate trophy tracks moving at once and puts another 250 Materials toward the suits that raise Logan’s health ceiling.
