The Platinum in Marvel’s Wolverine is I’m The Best There Is…, and it pops the moment you collect the other 41 trophies in the game. There is no separate challenge attached to it, so the whole job is clearing everything else on the list. The full list runs to 42 trophies including the Platinum itself.
Quick answer: Finish the story, gather all 68 Material Crates, 20 Whisky Bottles and 14 Nightmare Doors, hit an Adamantium rating in a Nightmare Trial, reach Player Level 36 and Adaptation Level 10, and clean up the combat counters.

What the Platinum does and does not require
No trophy asks for a specific difficulty, so you can play the campaign on whatever setting you prefer. There are no permanently missable trophies, and the Nightmare Cabin includes a Mission Replay function, so anything you skip on a first pass can be picked up afterward. New Game Plus exists at launch, but nothing on the list forces a second full campaign.
| Factor | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Difficulty | Any; no hardest-mode run needed |
| Missable trophies | None |
| New Game Plus | Not required |
| Cleanup tool | Mission Replay in the Nightmare Cabin |
Treat your first playthrough as both the story run and the setup for cleanup. Parrying often, using different abilities, breaking XP Caches and grabbing obvious collectibles as you go removes most of the post-game grind.

Add to Google Preferences →Story and boss trophies
A large chunk of the list unlocks simply by advancing the campaign. The main boss kills and key story beats are unmissable and trigger automatically at fixed points. Completing the credits after Mission #29: No Coming Back earns One More Story.
| Trophy | Event | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Omega Dead | Defeat Omega Red | After Mission #3: Last Meal |
| Kicked the Bucket | Defeat the Sentinel Prototype | After Mission #10: Mutant Detected |
| Struck Dead | Defeat Deathstrike | After Mission #20: Death’s March |
| Had To Put Him Down | Defeat Sabretooth | After Mission #25: Red Right Hand |
| A Sinister End | Defeat Essex | After Mission #29: No Coming Back |
| One More Story | Complete the main story | When the credits roll |
Alongside the bosses, several one-off interactions are tied to specific missions. During the Sabretooth fight in Mission #25, ignore him at the start and smash every market stall for Harmer’s Market. In Mission #23: Roll the Dice you dress up as Patch for Undercover, and Mission #5: The One That Got Away includes the Canada Highway Chase for Road Rage.

Collectibles to gather
Three collectible trophies form the biggest exploration block. Grab what you can spot naturally, then mop up the rest with Mission Replay. Whisky Bottles also feed your Adaptation Points, so they double as progress toward a later target.
| Collectible | Total | Trophy |
|---|---|---|
| Material Crates | 68 | Crate Collector |
| Whisky Bottles | 20 | Full Barrel |
| Nightmare Doors | 14 | Pathways of the Mind |
The first bottle (But a Dram) and the first door found in the open world (Waking Nightmare) both unlock during Mission #4: Homecoming, so early progress starts before you even focus on collecting.
Nightmare Trials and the hidden memory
Nightmare Doors lead to Nightmare Trials, which cover three more trophies. Adamantium is the highest rating a Trial can earn, and reaching it once gives you Adamantium Dreams.
The last trophy in this group only becomes available after the campaign. Finish the main story and collect all 14 Nightmare Doors, then return to the Nightmare Cabin and find the wooden phoenix statue. Completing the “Best There Is” Nightmare Trial opens the Cabin door to a hidden epilogue and pops Repressed Memories.

Progression targets
A handful of trophies key off long-term progress rather than any single action. You finish the story at roughly Level 34, so Ultimate Predator at Player Level 36 needs a little extra play through Mission Replay or New Game Plus.
- Ultimate Predator — reach Player Level 36.
- Secondary Mutations — reach Adaptation Level 10 by earning AP from Whisky Bottles and Adamantium-tier Trials.
- Adamantium Armory — craft 20 suits to push Health to 200%.
- Suit Up — craft your first suit during Mission #4: Homecoming.
Because suit crafting depends on Material Crates, completing the collectible sweep and the crafting goal go hand in hand. Leave the level grind for last, since story, collectibles and Nightmare content all feed these numbers first.
Combat counters
Several trophies count actions across the whole game. Normal play usually carries you most of the way, and anything left over is easy to farm in Nightmare Trials or Mission Replay.
| Trophy | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Parry Perfected | Parry 500 times |
| Cut Just As Deep | Kill 100 enemies with the Helix Claws |
| Spiral Cut | Kill 75 enemies with Tornado Spin |
| Cache Crusher | Destroy 100 XP Caches |
| Blindsided | Stealth kill 10 enemies blinded by Jean |
XP Caches are the blue canisters in Canada and the red light shrines in Japan. The Helix Claws (an R1 ability) arrive at the end of Mission #17: Death Comes to Death, so 100 kills with them will lag behind your other counters unless you use them steadily after that point. Blindsided is farmable during Mission #18: We Were Wrong by pressing R1 in stealth to blind enemies, then restarting the checkpoint.

One-off interactions and combat tricks
The rest of the list is made up of small environmental moments and specific combat setups. None of them lock you out, and every one can be revisited through Mission Replay if you pass it by.
- Shish Kebab — kick an enemy into a forklift in the Mission #5 lumberyard.
- Recycled — kick a Reaver into the lava pit in the Mission #6 refinery.
- Ground Control — kick three enemies out of the plane at the start of Mission #13.
- Poseidon’s Kiss — activate the face on the wall in the Tokyo bar bathroom during Mission #14.
- That’s Cheating — destroy the arcade claw machines in Mission #16.
- Saturn Slam — cut the rope holding Saturn in the space restaurant during Mission #18.
- Greased — break the “Do Not Enter” boards to read Callisto’s journal in Mission #5.
A few combat-state trophies also sit here, including Hot Head for hitting Rage Tier 3 and Berserker Unleashed for entering a Berserker Rage, both of which happen through normal story progress.
How to confirm the Platinum
Once the other 41 trophies are marked complete, I’m The Best There Is… pops on its own with no extra step. If it has not appeared, open the in-game trophy list and check for any single entry still outstanding, then use Mission Replay from the Nightmare Cabin to finish it. Because nothing is missable, every remaining trophy stays reachable until the Platinum is yours.
