The item card reads:
This sickle was originally a tool used in the Thread-Binding Sect’s workshops to dismantle defective bodies. Later, the Herald embedded it into the bones of the Scavenger’s arm, turning it into a vicious weapon that needed no hands to wield.
Deep beneath the Crimson Manor, the creature born from this assemblage of flesh developed a consciousness and used the sickle to slaughter every living thing in sight, believing that by killing it could take the lives of others for its own.
Its effect line reads: “Used to Soul Temper the Hunter’s Chain Sickle.”

What Alloyed Scythe Blade does
Alloyed Scythe Blade has one job: Soul Tempering the Hunter’s Chain Sickle. It is one of several Soul Tempering materials, each tied to its own weapon.
| Weapon | Upgrade | Cost | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gleaming Hook | 5,000 Remnant Dust + Alloyed Scythe Blade | Myst, the Order’s underground tavern, Pangzhen |
To apply it, bring the material and 5,000 Remnant Dust to Myst in the Order’s underground tavern in Pangzhen. The full process is laid out in the Soul Tempering guide.
Once tempered, the Hunter’s Chain Sickle gains Gleaming Hook, which the game describes as:
The chain’s power is increased, allowing it to deal the same damage as the sickle blade. When the sickle blade hits an enemy, it depletes more Sha-Chi and builds the enemy’s Bleed Gauge. When the gauge is full, it triggers Blood Loss. Has no effect on Puppets, Golden Bodies, or Phantom Bodies.
