Where the Crossroads bell is
Crossroads is among the bells in Phantom Blade Zero. You can get there in Chapter 1 while doing the story quest AGAINST THE FLOW. Small figures stand around the base of a tall timber cross draped in red cloth. It rises from a reddish-brown plank deck on a hillside in the Village of Lu. A tiled hut roof lies just beneath the deck’s edge, overlooking the misty valley and forest.
The deck is beneath a rocky ridge, a short distance beyond Jewel’s hut. This artisan’s hut has a red work table and is about 30 metres past the village’s starting huts, which line the route from the Place of Awakening bell. The cross is about 50 metres from Jewel’s hut as the crow flies, but reaching it means crossing the ridge.

What the Crossroads bell gives you
Press E at the cross to ring the bell. You know it worked when the bell menu opens with “Crossroads” in the bottom-left corner. The menu lists six options:
- Traverse
- Upgrade Equipment
- Store
- Train Abilities
- Save
- Leave
Resting at the cross restores your health. Once rung, Crossroads becomes a destination you can pick with Traverse from other bells, and the Save option lets you save your game on the spot.
Crossroads is also the closest bell to Jewel’s hut. That makes it the natural place to return to when you head back to Jewel to polish accessories.
