Quick answer: Look for the Gentle Thief in the northernmost house of Crimson Forest’s Thieves’ Camp. Choose “Stole a patron’s jade belt”, “Butterfly” and “The letter didn’t mention the child. It seems his fate is unknown.”
Honor Among Thieves is a tale in Phantom Blade Zero. It is a delivery job with a short quiz at the end. You carry a letter to the brother of the Nimble Thief, prove you know the family history, and he gives you an accessory that makes stealth kills quieter.
Where to find the Gentle Thief

Each question opens a menu with four options. Choose the correct answer for each question.

Question 1 asks how the Nimble Thief first made his name. Pick “Stole a patron’s jade belt”: the blood letter says he stole a landowner’s jade belt at thirteen.
Question 2 asks what the head of the hairpin that doomed him looked like. The answer is “Butterfly”.
Question 3 asks what became of the poor family’s child. The letter only says the child disappeared, so pick “The letter didn’t mention the child. It seems his fate is unknown.”
It’s easy to select the wrong answer with these controls: press S to move down the list and Space to confirm. Space also advances dialogue, and each question is followed immediately by an automatically opened answer menu. If you use Space to skip his dialogue, an extra press may accidentally choose the first option. Wait briefly for the question to appear, then navigate to the correct answer.
What happens if you pick a wrong answer
A wrong answer ends the conversation, and that is all it does. There is no penalty. Press E on him again and he goes back to the start of the questions. You have to answer all three again, not just the one you missed.
Silent Wrap reward and how to confirm the tale is done
After your third correct answer, the Gentle Thief thanks Soul and promises to repay the debt on his brother’s behalf. He gives you the SILENT WRAP, a Support accessory (see the accessories list) with this effect: “Reduces noise from footsteps and Assassinations by 50%.”
“An old wrap, its edges worn pale with age. It once belonged to a thief who used it to vault over high walls and dart across rooftops. Yet on lonely nights, he would linger, watching the lights of a distant home, unable to bring himself to leave.”
A slot-selection screen appears on the reward card. To equip the wrap, hold Space while an empty accessory slot is selected; press Esc to leave without equipping it. No Remnant Dust is awarded by the tale.
The HONOR AMONG THIEVES banner then shows the objective crossed out.
In Quests > Tales, Honor Among Thieves drops to the bottom of the list, greyed out with a green stamp. Every other tale is in the full Phantom Blade Zero tales list.
