Project Slayers 2: Fastest Ways to Farm Wen

Boss rotations with Coin Pouches give steady income, while ranked PvP pays the most per match once your build is finished.

Wen drains away fast in Project Slayers 2 the moment you start buying gourds, mounts, gear, and late-game weapons that cost hundreds of thousands each. The endgame gives you far better income than repeating low-level quests, and three methods stand above the rest after the recent buffs to Wen drops.

Quick answer: Level 125 boss rotations paired with Coin Pouches are the most reliable farm at roughly 300,000–350,000 Wen per hour. Ranked PvP pays more per win (about 8,000 Wen in two to three minutes) once your build is complete.

Fastest Wen methods compared

Which method wins depends on where your account sits in progression. Boss farming is the safe default because it produces Wen and upgrade materials at the same time. Ranked PvP has the highest ceiling per match, but only if you can win consistently.

Boss rotations and Coin Pouches (the reliable farm)

This is the method that runs no matter your build. Each boss kill pays the Crow or Muzan quest reward, gives Wen from the boss itself, and drops Coin Pouches on top of everything else. Bosses now drop up to 5 Coin Pouches per kill after the buff, which is what pushes the hourly rate so high. Clearing about 60 bosses in an hour lands you around 300,000 to 350,000 Wen, or roughly 180,000 if you only average three pouches per boss.

Open the Kasugai Crow or Muzan task menu and take the highest boss quest available to you. Grab a mission before every single fight, since skipping it throws away the largest slice of Wen from the run.

Head to your boss and take it down. Once you reach Level 125, the tougher Crow quests award about 1,200 to 1,890 Wen apiece; defeating the boss also brings in several hundred additional Wen.
Traversing the Path

Open the reward chest that spawns after the kill. Alongside Coin Pouches you will pick up materials like Refinement Ore, Metal Scraps, and Silk Thread, which you can sell or keep for crafting.

When your pouch stack is large, fast travel to Mistfall Harbor and run to the merchant. Cash out between rotations so you are not carrying your entire income at risk.

Talk to the merchant (Ginzo at Mistfall Harbor, or Chibi at Mistfall Village), open the sell menu, and offload your Coin Pouches. Selling a full inventory of pouches can jump your balance by well over 100,000 Wen in one transaction.

Sell every Coin Pouch

At Ginzo, you can sell each purple Coin Pouch for 750 Wen. A boss chest often gives roughly three per run, but the total can range as high as five. Selling three earns 2,250 Wen, while 100 pouches bring in 75,000 Wen, making saved-up pouches a sizable later payout. They add to your quest and boss earnings instead of taking their place.

The 2x Wen gamepass does not double the payout when you sell items directly to a vendor. That multiplier is blocked at merchant stalls as an anti-exploit measure, so it only helps on quest turn-ins.

Best Slayer boss rotation

For Slayers, use Windy Peak as your starting point for the most direct route. Take the Crow quest for each target before fighting, then tackle Daki, follow up with Gyutaro, and end at the Reaper Demon. Against Daki, block her burst sequence and counter once it ends. Gyutaro takes more care: many of his moves leave no safe opening, so equip damage-reduction gear and combo only after his sickle sequence. You can apply more pressure to the Reaper Demon, but block as soon as the yellow ultimate warning shows.

You can extend the route with bosses like Giyen, Saneri, or Nezura when you also want their drops. Nezura is worth the detour for the Bamboo Muzzle accessory, though the extra travel makes the rotation slower if Wen is your only goal.

Best Demon boss rotation

Demons follow much the same approach, though getting between targets takes longer and daylight restricts the route. Fight Shinora first, travel to Rengu next, and focus on recognizing which attacks to block and punish rather than trying to punish every animation. During the night, you can also fit in Nezura to collect extra materials. At higher levels, taking on these bosses solo makes the run smoother: you set the pace and other players cannot interrupt your rotation.

Ranked PvP for the highest per-match payout

If your build is already finished, ranked PvP can simply beat boss rotations for raw Wen. It is available across 1v1, 2v2, and Zenith modes, and each win pays roughly 8,000 Wen plus mastery and player EXP in a two to three minute match. A single ranked victory can show +8,444 Wen, +1,000 mastery, +6,755 EXP, and rank progression on the reward screen. In team modes, 2v2 matches range from about 5,000 to 10,000 Wen depending on your kills.

The main difficulty is keeping the wins consistent. Quick queues matter, as does beating opponents with high HP; that usually calls for a fully developed Breathing or Blood Demon Art setup and gear tuned to the limit. When queues are slow or your kit is incomplete, boss rotations are the more reliable option.

Overnight AFK fishing

Fishing turns idle hours into income. Set a fishing macro to run overnight, ideally five or more hours, with an upgraded setup such as a Tier 9 Refined Legendary Fishing Rod and titles like Legendary Fisherman, Leviathan Hunter, and Salvager. By morning you will have huge quantities of fish, ore, and weapons to convert.

Instead of dumping the whole haul on a vendor, turn fish in to repeatable fishing quest NPCs while a 2x Wen boost is active, since quest rewards do receive the multiplier. Prioritize the higher-level turn-ins, which pay the most. The best-paying option is Akio at Level 125, followed by the Gatekeeper and the NPC at Butterfly Mansion. Sell any surplus fish at the merchant afterward for extra Wen.

Private servers and midgame options

A private server leaves the bosses to you, and a group of up to three players—or AFK alt accounts—can keep the full Crow and Muzan mission quest buffs running as you clear them. Players report different results for whether the method scales the same way in every private-server version. To verify yours, compare the Wen amount listed for your Crow mission in a private server against one in a busy public server. If both show the same amount, farming privately is simpler since nobody can take your boss.

Until you hit Level 125, the highest-tier boss quests are unavailable. Around Level 70, some players use Estate Worker Niko’s quest as a midgame option to earn Wen and EXP. Use it to fill the gap, not as a substitute for late-game farms.

How much Wen you can expect

There isn’t one dependable “Wen per hour” rate for everyone: clear times, quest rolls, Coin Pouch RNG, travel, and PvP queue times all affect the result. With a strong boss rotation, quest earnings and pouches together can yield several thousand Wen per kill. In one tested run, the boss paid about 450 Wen and three pouches added 2,250 Wen, for roughly 3,900 to 4,500 Wen on a clean kill before any accessories or materials were sold.

The biggest optimization is damage. Faster kills mean more resets, more quests, and more Coin Pouches, which is why your clan and gear matter more than they seem. You will know a method is working when your Wen balance climbs after each merchant sale or match reward screen. For most players, boss quests are the reliable base, saving Coin Pouches until you have a large stack, then switching to ranked PvP whenever matchmaking is active and your build is strong enough to win.
