Your Wen reserve can shrink in a hurry when gourds, mounts, gear, and endgame weapons each cost hundreds of thousands. If your level is still low and tougher bosses out-damage you, repeatedly clear the weaker enemies near Bamboo Grove and the Wilderness for Coin Pouches and reliable Wen. Each boss in this route has just 2,000 HP and little defense; with no dangerous invulnerability frames or hyper armor, you can keep them trapped in long combos and finish quickly.
Quick answer: Rotate Sumari, Yahari, Dotai, Saneri, and Shinora. Each drops up to 5 Coin Pouches, then sell the stack to Ginzo at Mistfall Harbor for 1,000 Wen per pouch.
The five weak bosses to farm
All five targets share the same stat line: 2,000 HP, roughly +1,000 Exp and +450 Wen on kill, and a chance at themed cosmetics on top of the Coin Pouches. The outfit and weapon drops are rare, so treat them as a bonus. The Coin Pouches and quest Wen are what make the loop worthwhile.

Obari (Servant of King) sits on the Bamboo Grove cliffside and is equally fragile, but he blocks constantly and spams skills, which drags the fight out. Add him only if you want his rare Serpent gear. Skip Gyutai and Reaper entirely at low level, since both carry higher stats plus hyper armor and iframes that will stall or kill you.
Grab a quest before every fight
Slayers claim repeatable bounties from the Kasugai Crow; demons use Muzan’s menu with their Bell. Take the matching boss contract before you swing at anything, because the quest reward is often the biggest single slice of Wen from a kill. The low-tier Crow bounties pay around 1,200 to 1,890 Wen each, and skipping them throws that money away.
Do not sit at an empty spawn waiting for one specific contract to appear. If another boss is up and you can clear it, take that fight instead and come back. The V0.2 update cut quest cooldowns from 30 seconds to 10, so contracts cycle back quickly.
Run the rotation and reset
Sell Coin Pouches to Ginzo for 1,000 Wen each
Coin Pouches remain in your inventory until you sell them, which means your displayed Wen total understates what you earned during a session. Travel quickly to Mistfall Harbor and sell your stack to Ginzo. A recent update increased the payout from 750 to 1,000 Wen per pouch, so selling 100 at once gives you 100,000 Wen. If your route takes you nearer Mistfall Village, Chibi will buy them there as well.
To access Ginzo’s selling service, reach level 45 and complete his Jewelry Box quest. Talk to him, collect the box from Hidden Mist Village, then bring it back. Sell a big stack each time to reduce trips to the merchant, and use the maximum-sell button to unload everything in one go.
Selling goods at a vendor does not receive the 2x Wen gamepass multiplier. Merchant stalls block that boost to prevent exploits; it applies to quest turn-ins only. Each pouch still sells for the usual 1,000 Wen with the boost on, so reserve it for quest completions.
How much Wen a clean run earns
There is no single fixed rate, because clear times, quest rolls, Coin Pouch RNG, and travel all shift the total. A clean kill combines three income sources: the boss itself pays roughly 450 Wen, three pouches add 2,250 Wen, and the matching quest stacks on top of that. On a good kill that lands near 3,900 to 4,500 Wen before any materials or cosmetics are sold.
The one lever that changes everything is damage. Faster kills mean more resets, more completed quests, and more pouches per hour, which is why your clan, titles, and gear matter more than the route itself. A burst setup built around skill damage, damage-boosting titles, and a refined weapon can shorten each fight dramatically and keep the loop moving.
Bigger income once your build catches up
The weak-boss loop is the reliable base, but the endgame pays far more. Once your damage and survivability improve, three methods climb well above repeating low-level fights.
Level 125 boss rotations
The top-level Crow and Muzan contracts become available at Level 125, with rewards of about 1,200 to 1,890 Wen each. After the buff, a boss kill can yield as many as 5 Coin Pouches. Defeating roughly 60 bosses per hour brings in around 300,000 to 350,000 Wen; averaging three pouches per kill instead puts the hourly take nearer 180,000. Slayers can head straight to Windy Peak to fight Daki, Gyutaro, and the Reaper Demon. Demons should begin with Shinora, then move on to Rengu; farming alone prevents other players from taking your targets.
Wait out Gyutaro’s sickle sequence behind your block before attacking, as many of his moves offer no safe opening. Wear damage-reduction gear and strike once the sequence is over.
Ranked PvP for the highest per-match payout
For a completed build, ranked PvP can earn Wen faster than farming bosses. The modes include 1v1, 2v2, and Zenith; a win gives about 8,000 Wen, mastery, and player Exp in a match lasting two to three minutes. One confirmed win may award +8,444 Wen, +1,000 mastery, +6,755 Exp, and rank progress. Reliable wins are the challenge: you need a fully developed Breathing or Blood Demon Art kit and tuned gear to take down high-HP opponents. If queues are slow or your build isn’t ready, return to boss rotations.
Overnight AFK fishing
Fishing turns idle hours into income. Run a fishing macro overnight, five or more hours, with an upgraded rig such as a Tier 9 Refined Legendary Fishing Rod and titles like Legendary Fisherman, Leviathan Hunter, and Salvager. By morning you will have stacks of fish, ore, and weapons. Rather than dumping it all on a vendor, turn fish in to repeatable fishing quest NPCs while a 2x Wen boost is active, since quest rewards do receive the multiplier. Prioritize the higher-level turn-ins, with Akio at Level 125 paying the most, followed by the Gatekeeper and the NPC at Butterfly Mansion. Sell leftover fish afterward for extra Wen.
The best boss quests remain unavailable until Level 125, so some players around Level 70 use Estate Worker Niko’s quest to fill the midgame gap. These options supplement the main farms rather than replace them. For most accounts, the dependable routine is to complete boss quests, hold Coin Pouches until you have a sizeable stack, then queue for ranked PvP when matchmaking is running if your build can win consistently.
