Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy – All Collectible Locations by Chapter

Every blade, relic, charm, and Resonance Point across the 14 chapters, plus the one set you can permanently miss.

Every blade, relic, charm, and Resonance Point across the 14 chapters, plus the one set you can permanently miss.

Sophia’s journey across Minotaur’s Island hides 275 collectibles spread over 14 chapters, and almost all of them can be mopped up later through Chapter Select. The single exception is the Resonance Points, which reset if you replay an earlier chapter, so they are the only pickups you must plan around on a first run.

Quick answer: Collect at least 165 of the 200 Resonance Points during one continuous playthrough (they do not carry over in Chapter Select), then use Chapter Select afterward to finish the 8 Blades, 37 Artefacts, and 30 Charms at your own pace.

Collectible types and totals

There are four collectible categories, and each one is tied to specific trophies. The table below shows how the 275 total pickups break down and which rewards they unlock.

CategoryCountTrophies
Blades (Heroes’ Graves)8 (9 with pre-order DLC)Plunderer, Adaptable
Artefacts (Relics of the Present & Past)37Hoarder
Charms (includes 5 Theseus Echoes)30Superstitious, In the name of my kin
Resonance Points165 of 200 requiredLike a warrior

Two chapters hold nothing at all. Chapter VIII: Resonance and Chapter XIV: What Remains contain no collectibles, so you can play them straight through.

Resonance Points: the only missable set

Resonance Points are the game’s skill currency, shown in the world as a glimmering white light. Each pickup gives one point, and a few are handed out automatically after combat encounters. You need 165 of the 200 available to buy every skill, which means you can skip up to 35 of them.

They are missable for one reason. Points are only saved when you reach the next checkpoint, and they do not transfer through Chapter Select. If you reload an earlier chapter, your total resets to whatever it was when you first played that chapter. Die before a checkpoint and you must grab them again.

Tip: If you miss ten or more points in a single chapter, restart that chapter immediately before progressing rather than trying to recover later. Missing a handful is fine because you only need 82.5 percent of the total.

Buying all skills costs exactly 165 points because prices rise as you purchase. Each of the six skill branches holds three skills, and the cost per branch climbs on a fixed curve.

Skill branchCost
1st branch5 + 10 = 15
2nd branch10 + 10 = 20
3rd branch15 + 10 = 25
4th branch20 + 10 = 30
5th branch25 + 10 = 35
6th branch30 + 10 = 40
Total165

To spend them, open the menu, select Sophia, then Skills. Buying only the first square-icon skill in a branch is not enough. You must also unlock the two sub-skills to complete that branch and progress toward the “Like a warrior” trophy.

All 8 Blade locations by chapter

Blades are the swords you fight with, found inside the Heroes’ Graves. Collecting all 8 earns Plunderer, and landing a kill with every blade earns Adaptable. The pre-order Hero’s Blade is a ninth weapon but is not needed for either trophy. The two starting swords are handed to you through the story, while the rest sit behind sphere and light puzzles that open a tomb.

V: Desolation It WroughtGreek SwordAt the camp ringed by ruin pillars, climb the pillars on the left, then stand on the metal circle by the seagull nest to align the sphere colors and open the tomb.
VI: What Lies BeneathSicaAfter collecting Daedalus’s Key, take the muddy path to the left, reach the second lit platform, and angle the sphere’s trio of colors.
VII: Death It SowedKhopeshIn the open area with the Minotaur statue and a skull-head statue, stand on the metal circle and line up the sphere colors.

X: Parallel PathsXiphosIn the forest lens puzzle with Faro, cross to the back-right corner over the stream, work up to the tomb puzzle, and align the colors.

Chapters III, VIII, XI, XII, XIII, and XIV contain no blades, so there is nothing to hunt for in those levels for the Plunderer trophy.

Artefacts: Relics of the Present and Past

The 37 Artefacts split into 14 Relics of the Present and 23 Relics of the Past, and collecting them all earns Hoarder. They usually sit on the ground or on bodies, and several lie down short dead-end paths that force a backtrack, so sweep side corridors before crossing a point of no return.

The first Relic of the Present appears early in Chapter I: Blood Ties. After the fight with Valerio, search the corpse near the dry branch to pick up the Handled Cross, marked as Relic of the Present 1/14.

Chapter II: Felons holds the next two Relics of the Present. Before crossing the bridge, climb the steps on the right to reach the dock and boat, where the Flag of Venice (2/14) rests on the ground near the corner. Later, at the square in front of the church, keep right past the seated man and child and check the ground behind the tents for the Bull Mask (3/14). Both routes end in dead ends, so double back after grabbing each one.

Note: If you have already crossed the bridge in Chapter II without grabbing the Flag of Venice, head back for it. These early relics are easy to walk past because the level keeps pushing you forward.

Charms and the six Amulet slots

Charms are passive-buff accessories found almost exclusively inside small chests, and collecting all 30 earns Superstitious. Five of them are Theseus Echoes, tied to the “In the name of my kin” trophy. The equippable set falls under the Amulets category and covers six types, five of each.

Amulet typeCount

Bracelets5
Pendants5
Signet Rings5

You collect the first one, Bracelet 1/5, in Chapter II. After you use the grappling hook to pull an archer down from the rooftops, continue along the wall, look left, and open the small chest. It gives a very small chance for critical hits to deal increased damage.

How to verify your collectible count

Every category is tracked, so you can confirm progress without guesswork. When you boot the game and pick a save, the counters for Blades, Artefacts, and Charms are shown, and the same totals appear inside Chapter Select. Skills you own are highlighted yellow in the Skills menu, while unowned ones stay grayed out.

For Resonance Points, open the menu, go to Artefacts, and check the counter at the bottom left to see your running total. Because that number rolls back when you reload an older chapter, treat the count you see at your latest checkpoint as the only one that sticks.

The safest path to full completion is a single thorough run that secures the 165 Resonance Points, followed by targeted Chapter Select visits for any Blades, Artefacts, or Charms you left behind. Everything except the Resonance Points can wait until after the credits, so there is no need to reset a chapter over a missed relic or sword.
