In Ride A Pet’s Halloween event zone, the Yin Yang ritual lets you open a hidden, sealed cave. Find a Yin Half and a Yang Half lying on the ground, bring both to the cave entrance, and set them on its circular emblem. In the cave, collect a Ritual Candy Pot; it usually contains Candy, but on a very rare occasion it contains a Headless Egg that hatches into the Headless Horseman.
Quick answer: After completing Rebirth 1, go through the pumpkin portal. Pick up a Yin Half and a Yang Half from the ground, then set both on the circle at the cave entrance to unlock it.

Requirements to start the Yin Yang ritual
Completing your first Rebirth is a requirement for reaching the ritual. Rebirth 1 grants entry to the Halloween event zone, and the two ritual halves are exclusive to that area. To check the cost for your account, open the in-game Rebirth panel; the Rebirth 1 requirement is listed there.
Afterward, return to the main map and find the orange, glowing tree portal surrounded by pumpkins. Approach it, hold the interact key, and enter the Halloween world.

The halves can appear at random locations throughout the event zone, and any player can collect them. Both may be present at once, without an on-screen alert when either spawns. Since they are small, dark, and easy to miss among the Halloween decorations, angle your camera toward the ground while searching.

Some spots yield halves more often than others, but their spawns are random. Search the entire zone instead of waiting in one place.
- Check the area by the Candy Drop-Off station and delivery pad.
- Look through the cemetery just above the Yin Yang cave.
- Search close to the houses where the Trick-or-Treat mini-game takes place.
- Check the open area before the pumpkin section.

A half may vanish about five minutes after spawning, and another can appear five to ten minutes afterward. Pick one up as soon as you spot it, then use your fastest mount to reach the next area before other players.
How to open the Yin Yang cave door
You may complete the task solo or with a friend. A friend who places either half also qualifies to enter the cave and claim its reward. If the reward is a Headless Egg, both of you can collect one.
There is a time limit on the ritual. If it runs out before both halves are placed, the message “The Ritual Timed Out. Your Half Is Still In Your Inventory,” appears, and your held piece remains with you.
What the cave gives you
The cave contains a Ritual Candy Pot, which produces one of two possible rewards.
| Reward | Chance | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Headless Egg | 0.1% (1 in 1,000) | Hatches instantly into the Headless Horseman |
| Candy (up to 100) | 99.9% | Deposit for Halloween Tokens |
The Headless Egg lands in your inventory and hatches immediately into the Headless Horseman, currently the game’s rarest and fastest pet, with base earnings of 92,580,000 Cash per second. Check the live stat in the in-game Index before planning around that figure.
Candy is the pot’s usual result. Bring it to the event area’s green Candy Drop-Off zone before the spoil timer runs out to convert it into Halloween Tokens. You can spend those Tokens on Halloween Eggs in the event shop, so Candy still contributes to event progress. Each opening has a 1 in 1,000 chance of giving the Horseman, and you can repeat the ritual whenever you manage to collect the halves.
Farming the ritual faster with private servers
Because the egg sits at 1 in 1,000, the practical goal is to open the cave as many times as you can. A private server removes the competition for pieces and lets you run a tight loop. Done well, this can open the ritual room six to seven times within 20 to 30 minutes.

Keep repeating until the Headless Egg drops. Every unsuccessful pot still hands you Candy, so no run is wasted as long as you deposit it for Tokens on the way to your next cave opening.
