When the server announces that a Black hole egg has spawned in Ride A Pet, the race is already underway. Servers cap at six players, the egg sits in one of a fixed set of landmark spots, and the pickup window is measured in seconds. Wandering the map hoping to spot it is how most runs end with someone else’s name in the steal notification.
Quick answer: Equip your fastest mount, lock a target with a Radar, then sweep the 16 checkpoints in order from Overworld to Waterfall and carry the egg to My Plot before it breaks.
Blackhole Egg setup: fastest pet, Radar, and Track
Everything you need has to be ready before the spawn message appears. There is no time to shop, swap mounts, or read the map once the countdown starts.
- A top-speed mount equipped — Phoenix, Cerberus, Dragon, or Kitsune.
- A Radar bought from the Gears stall and equipped, not sitting unused in your inventory.
- Track opened at least once so you know what is live and when the board resets.
- The four-zone route memorized, including the vertical and hidden spots.
Check Track for Eggs In World and the reset countdown before you spend cash. If the board is full of low-value targets, wait for the refresh instead of burning a radar charge.

Add to Google Preferences →Radar prices and restock costs at Gears
A Radar locks one hidden egg and gives you a green distance marker to follow while riding. Stock rotates, and the higher tiers only show on the Gears board when they are in stock.
| Radar | Tier | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Advanced Radar | Early loop | $50 |
| Jewel Radar | Mid | About $3,000 |
| Royal Radar | Epic | $20,000 |
| Magic Radar | Legendary | $300,000 |
| Angelic / Eternal / Divine / Ethereal | Rotating | Shown when in stock |
If the board reads No Stock, a force restock costs $3,000. Start on the Advanced Radar at $50 while you are still learning the route, and move up to Royal once plot income covers the $20,000 without stalling your other spending. Infinite Radar is not a requirement for Blackhole hunting — it only matters if stock or use limits keep cutting your runs short.
How to find the Blackhole Egg with the radar method

All 16 Blackhole Egg checkpoints by zone
The same 16 landmarks cover every possible spawn. Running them in a fixed order matters more than running them fast, because a consistent route means you never re-check a spot you already cleared.
| # | Zone | Checkpoint |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Overworld | Spawn Area |
| 2 | Overworld | Starter Shop |
| 3 | Overworld | Mutation Ranch |
| 4 | Overworld | Food Vendor |
| 5 | Giant Tree | Tree Hollow Canopy |
| 6 | Giant Tree | Wood Egg Stand |
| 7 | Giant Tree | Forest Food Cart |
| 8 | Giant Tree | Hidden Roots |
| 9 | Desert | Oasis Market |
| 10 | Desert | Sandstorm Ridge |
| 11 | Desert | Desert Egg Platform |
| 12 | Desert | Ancient Pyramid |
| 13 | Waterfall | Hidden Grotto |
| 14 | Waterfall | River Crossing Bridge |
| 15 | Waterfall | Aquatic Egg Basin |
| 16 | Waterfall | Fishing Dock |
Overworld and Giant Tree
The Overworld four sit close together around the shops and the ranch, so treat them as one quick pass rather than four stops. Giant Tree is the opposite problem — it is built vertically, and the Tree Hollow Canopy platforms are easy to miss entirely if you only scan ground level. Hidden Roots underneath the trunk is the other spot players skip.

Desert and Waterfall
In the Desert, circle the Desert Egg Platform and the Ancient Pyramid’s parkour area rather than glancing at them from the front. Waterfall hides the most, and the Hidden Grotto behind the main pool is the single spot most likely to cost you the egg — fly behind the falls first, then work the bridge, basin, and dock on your way out.

Pickup window, Egg Will Break timer, and how to confirm the egg counted
Two separate clocks run during a Blackhole hunt, and they punish different mistakes. The first decides whether you reach the egg at all. The second decides whether the egg is yours.
| Timer | Starts when | Length |
|---|---|---|
| Pickup window | A valuable egg goes active | About 20 seconds |
| Egg Will Break | You pick the egg up | Runs until you reach My Plot |
Carrying slows you down, which is why the mount choice from Step 1 matters on the way home as much as it did on the way out. The egg only counts once you reach My Plot before Egg Will Break hits zero — that is your confirmation the run worked, and the egg is then yours to hatch. Once the hunt resolves you may also see a finished notice such as Royal Radar Finished, which means that radar is spent and you need another one to lock the next target.
Why Blackhole Egg runs fail
- Another player grabs the egg your radar locked — the game names who took it.
- Egg Will Break reaches zero during the carry home.
- You hit Drop by accident while the egg is in hand.
Do not follow other players who look like they know where they are going. With six players to a server, trailing someone usually means arriving second to a spot you could have cleared yourself.
Strip the method down and it comes to three things working together: a radar lock so you are not guessing, a mount fast enough to make the lock useful, and a memorized route so the 16 checkpoints go by in a single clean pass. Get those in place before the spawn message appears, and the Blackhole Egg stops being a lottery.
