The Candy Corn Pack is one of the limited FischFright 3 catches in Fisch, and you can’t get it the usual way. You won’t reel it in with a rod. It comes only from trick-or-treating at the numbered houses on Caustic Hallow, the Halloween event island, where it shows up as a random reward.
Quick answer: Take Captain Jack’s ship from Moosewood dock to Caustic Hallow, equip the Candy Bucket, knock on house doors, and pick “Treat!” each time until the Candy Corn Pack drops.
Candy Corn Pack requirements
You need very little to farm it, but missing any of these will stop you before the first door.
- FischFright 3 must be live. The bestiary hint says the item is “Only obtainable during FischFright 3.”
- Access to Caustic Hallow, reached by talking to Captain Jack at Moosewood dock.
- The Candy Bucket held in your hand. Doors won’t respond without it.
- Patience. No rod, bait, or luck stat changes the drop.

1. "Treat!" from the dialogue options. The other choice, 2. "[Trick]", is not the route to the Candy Corn Pack.
Candy Corn Pack drop chance and luck
Every “Treat!” rolls from a shared pool. Most doors pay out Treats, the event currency, usually somewhere between 15 and 26 per visit. Some also hand you an event fish such as a Bubblegum Blobfish, Licorice Lamprey, or Jawbreaker Jellyfish. The Candy Corn Pack is one possible result in that pool, and it is never guaranteed on any single door.
The exact drop rate has not been published. What is clear is that it ignores luck entirely. Your Luck stat, luck-boosting gear, and temporary luck buffs have no effect on how often the pack appears, so you don’t need to stack them before a farming session. The number of doors you knock on is the only thing you control.
Some fish tables list Black Licorice bait in Autumn, Clear weather, and Day as preferred conditions. The bestiary hint and the in-game drop behavior point to trick-or-treating as the only working source, so don’t waste time casting for it.

Like other fish, the pack comes in size tiers. Tiny is under 2.5kg, Small is under 5kg, Big is over 5kg, and Giant is over 10kg. Heavier rolls sell for more, though most players hold onto it for the bestiary rather than the coins.
How to confirm you got the Candy Corn Pack
Door rewards announce themselves on screen. Fish drops appear in the same format each time, for example “You just got a Licorice Lamprey at 4.4kg!”, so a successful roll names the Candy Corn Pack and its weight. If it’s your first one, a bestiary notice follows as well.
To double-check, open your inventory and look for the pack, then check its bestiary entry. The entry describes it as “A festive package packed with sugary triangles.” and carries the hint “Obtained through Trick-or-Treating!” Once it’s logged there, that FischFright 3 bestiary slot is filled, and you can go back to knocking for Treats or the other event fish.
