Garage Games’ hay-digging Roblox experience has exactly one working code right now, and it lines up with the alien-themed chest currently sitting in the lobby. Redeem it before you queue into a match, because the code menu is only reachable from the main screen.
Quick answer: Enter ALIEN in the Codes menu on the lobby screen and press Redeem. You should see “Successfully redeemed code!” along with 200 Gems and 200 Alien Coins added to your totals.
Active Search For The Needle code and rewards
There is a single live code, and nothing has expired yet. Type it in capital letters exactly as written, since the entry field does not correct spelling or stray spaces.
| Code | Reward | Status |
|---|---|---|
| ALIEN | 200 Gems and 200 Alien Coins | Working |
Note: The alien currency is displayed as green tokens in the chest interface, which is what the 200 coins feed into.

Add to Google Preferences →How to redeem the ALIEN code
ALIEN into the field and press the green Redeem button. Copying and pasting works too, but check that no trailing space came along with it.
Why the code fails to redeem
There are only a few reasons the entry gets rejected. The most common is a typo, a capitalization mismatch, or a hidden space picked up while copying. Retype it by hand if a paste attempt does nothing.
The other issue is location. Codes are accepted from the lobby menu only, so an active match will not show the entry field. If the button responds but nothing changes on screen, leave the server, rejoin a fresh one, and try again from the lobby.
Alien Chest drop rates and cost
The limited-time Alien Chest sits in the lobby and costs 100 green tokens per open. With 200 coins from the code, that covers two rolls. Most of the outcomes are gems, and the tool and mount drops sit well under ten percent each.
| Reward | Chance |
|---|---|
| Gems (25-75) | 60% |
| Gems (75-200) | 25% |
| Alien Dynamite | 7% |
| Alien Vacuum | 4.3% |
| Alien Squidfork | 2.5% |
| UFO | 1% |
The chest is tied to the event, so the tokens are worth spending rather than banking. Roughly 85 percent of openings return gems, which still feed back into upgrades.
Where Gems and cash actually go
A run starts with a hay-collecting objective. Chapter 1 in the Farmhouse map asks for 25 hay, which you carry over to the cow and feed it to turn into cash. That cash is the in-match currency for upgrades.

Three character stats matter early. Speed raises how quickly you collect, Grasp increases how much hay comes up per grab, and Hold removes the repeated clicking by letting you gather continuously while the button stays down.

Hold is the upgrade worth saving for. Once it is active, collection continues without any input beyond keeping the button pressed, which is what turns a slow first chapter into a steady clear.

Tools, prices, and the Pitchfork upgrades
Beyond bare-handed collecting, the shop sells tools that clear hay in bulk. The Pitchfork is the first meaningful jump, and it has its own two stats to raise.
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Upgrade Bag | $2.00 |
| Infinite Bag | R$40 |
| Pitchfork | $8.00 |
| Dynamite | $25.00 |
| Vacuum | $69.99 or R$49 |
Sweep controls how much hay a single swing shifts, and Cooldown shortens the gap between swings. Both are upgraded from the same menu that holds Hand, Dynamite, Drone, Vacuum, and Pitchfork entries.

Clearing is also faster with other players in the lobby. Splitting a pile across several people cuts the search time for the needle noticeably compared with a solo run on Normal difficulty.
Where new codes get posted
Garage Games drops codes alongside updates and events rather than on a schedule, and the developer’s own channels are where they appear first. The official Garage Games Discord server carries the announcements, and the Garage Games Roblox group mirrors most of them.
No expiry date has been attached to ALIEN, but event codes generally stop working when the event they belong to ends. Since it costs nothing to redeem and covers two Alien Chest openings, there is little reason to sit on it.
