Every objective, the Kostel fight, and the crucifix choice that decides how Crina’s grandson gets reburied.

Someone dug up the grave of Kvet, a boy buried in the church cemetery, and took the silver crucifix his grandmother left with the body. Disturbed is the side quest that follows those footprints, and it ends with a decision about whether you tell an old woman the truth.

Quick answer: Inspect the grave, follow the red-soil tracks with Focus Mode into the village, examine the broken shovel by Kostel’s shed, then search the shed to trigger the fight with Kostel. Vladimir ends it and confesses. Take the crucifix back or stay quiet, then return to Crina and help rebury Kvet for 250 XP and 25 Denarius.

Disturbed quest requirements, time cost, and rewards

Disturbed sits in the early stretch of the game and has a hard deadline attached to it. Because time in The Blood of Dawnwalker only moves when you push the story forward, the segments this quest eats are worth knowing before you start.

DetailValue
Quest giverCrina
Starting locationLaslea Glen, church cemetery
RequirementComplete “All Good Things”
Fail stateMust be finished before “Sacred Covenant”
Time cost1 time segment, plus 1 more if you help fill in the grave
Reward250 XP, 25 Denarius

Note: the second segment is optional in the sense that reburying Kvet is a choice, but it is the natural ending for the quest and the one Crina asks for.

Inspect the defiled grave in the church cemetery

Head to the cemetery and speak with Crina, who is crying over the freshly opened grave. Agreeing to look for Kvet’s pendant starts Disturbed and adds a glossary entry for her.
Interact with the grave to enter scene investigation. Dots mark the points you can study, so move the cursor onto one and hold Square on PlayStation or X on Xbox until the circle fills.
Examine the footprints to the right of the grave. Coen notes the reddish, clay-like soil that would have clung to the robber’s shoes, which is the detail the rest of the trail depends on. Back out of investigation mode when the objective clears.

Follow the robber’s tracks using Focus Mode

Hold L2 or LT to switch on Focus Mode. The footprints light up yellow and lead away from the grave toward a broken section of wall.

Inspect the smear of mud on the wall, then keep walking the trail into the village. Each patch of red soil along the way can be inspected, and doing so keeps the trail alive.
Pass Rainer’s stall and follow the last set of prints into the narrow alley where the trail stops. That is the end of the tracking objective and the start of the search on foot.

Examine the broken shovel and search Kostel’s shed

Continue straight down the alley until you spot a broken shovel leaning near a shed. Examine it to open object investigation, rotate it so you can see both faces, and press the prompt when it appears. The blade is caked in the same cemetery soil.
The objective updates to search Kostel’s shed. You can open the map or jump straight to the journal entry to confirm the new marker.

Walk up to the thatched shed with the objective still tracked. Searching it costs one time segment, so do it when you are ready to spend the time.

Open the door, look to the ground on your left, and inspect the loose floorboard covering a hidden compartment. Kostel walks in the moment you do.

The Kostel fight and Vladimir’s confession

Confronting Kostel about the shovel starts a fistfight inside the shed. You do not need to win it cleanly. The scene breaks either when you knock him down or when you have lost roughly half your health bar, at which point Vladimir steps in and sends Kostel outside.

Vladimir then offers a drink of slivovitz and admits everything. They took the crucifix because it is silver, which the vrakhiri have outlawed for the simple reason that it hurts them.

He opens the box of stolen silver, Kvet’s crucifix included, and lays out the plan. The metal gets melted down into arrowheads to use against Brencis and his men, with a larger ambition of taking the silver mine itself. You can push back on all of it in dialogue, including asking who “we” actually is and pointing out that Brencis’s men already suspect something.

Choice: Demand Kvet’s cross back or keep the secret

The conversation ends on a two-way split, and both branches close the quest.

ChoiceWhat happens
“Give me Kvet’s cross back.”You recover the crucifix and can hand it to Crina when you return.
“I’ll keep this between us.”The silver stays with Vladimir’s group, and you tell Crina you could not find the pendant.

Either way, Crina still asks for help reburying her grandson.

Return to Crina and rebury Kvet

Leave the shed and head back to the church graveyard. If the day is running short, the game warns you that the Blood Mass is starting soon and that you may need to pick which quests to finish, so confirm only when you are happy to advance the clock.
Talk to Crina and either return the crucifix or tell her you came up empty. She asks for help closing the grave, and agreeing costs one more time segment.
Pick up the shovel and hold the prompt to fill the grave back in. It is a manual bit of digging rather than a cutscene.

How to confirm Disturbed is complete

Once the grave is filled, a “Quest Ended” banner appears and the payout lands right after it: 250 XP and 25 Denarius. The Disturbed entry moves to the completed list in the journal, which you can check by toggling completed quests on the map screen.

If the quest never appears in the first place, it is because “All Good Things” has not been finished yet. And if it vanishes from your log entirely, the deadline has passed. Disturbed has to be wrapped up before Sacred Covenant begins, so slot it in while you still have segments left in the day.
