Human Spider is a Secret rarity support unit in Universal Tower Defense Z, modeled on Marvel’s Spider-Man and built around web control, follow-up attacks, and ally buffs. It carries 75% immunity to Stuns and swings toward enemies that leave its range to land heavy follow-up hits.

How to get Human Spider
Human Spider drops from the Crime Fighting map inside the Extraction gamemode. Completing the map gives a 25% chance to earn the unit. The same mode can also reward Symbiotic Alien and Iron Billionaire.
Extraction does not play like the standard Story, Legend, or Raid battles. Instead of defending a lane, you swing around the city and complete rotating objectives to fill an objective bar.
- Defeat criminals across the map
- Deliver pizzas
- Investigate villain activity to track down supervillains
Once the objective bar reaches a set point, several mini-bosses spawn. Clearing them summons the final boss, Symbiotic Alien, and beating that boss hands out the exclusive rewards.
Note: Extraction zones appear around the city at intervals as escape points. If you fail to reach all of them, you lose every reward earned during the run, so plan your route to hit each zone before the run ends.

Gold comes naturally from clearing levels. Fragments can be bought from the Virtual Merchant and the Merchant, and they also drop from specific Acts in the Legend Stage. Friendly Symbol is exclusive to the Crime Fighting Extraction map and has an unknown drop rate, so keep running that mode if you are short on it.

Spider Sense
- 75% chance to dodge any Stun an enemy tries to apply.
- The next attack has a 100% chance to plant Web Traps on Takedown.
- Gains -30% SPA for 10 seconds.
Neighborhood Protector
- When an enemy leaves its range, the unit swings to that enemy’s position.
- Lands a Follow-up Attack for 300% Damage before returning to its spot.
- +10% SPA for 15 seconds for every ‘Villain’ tag unit in range.
- -20% SPA for 15 seconds for every ‘Hero’ tag unit in range.
- -10% SPA for 15 seconds for all other units in range.
- Follow-up cooldown is 60 seconds.
Web Trap
- After a Takedown, 70% chance to make enemies leave a Web Trap for 6 seconds.
- Enemies that walk over a Web Trap become Tethered, cutting movement by 25% for 5 seconds.
- For each Tethered enemy in range, the unit gains +10% Damage (cap +30%) and +5% Range (cap +15%).

Synchro Drive options for Human Spider (Responsible)
Human Spider (Responsible) can Synchro Drive with two other units to become an entirely new character with different passives. Because a Synchro locks in the source units, confirm the fusion on the live screen before committing.

Mechanical Spider passives
Nanotechnology. Each attack adds +1 Nanotech stack for 10 seconds, scaling in effect:
- 1 stack: 5% Damage per second.
- 2 stacks: 10% Damage per second, and enemies take +10% from all sources.
- 3 stacks: 15% Damage per second, and enemies take +15% from all sources.
- 4 stacks: 20% Damage per second, enemies take +25% from all sources, and are Slowed by 20%.
Mechanical Legs. Every attack triggers a Follow-up Attack with +100% True Damage, and the unit deals +30% Damage to enemies holding at least 1 Nanotech stack.
Spider-Senses. On an attempted Stun, it always dodges and gains +25% Damage (cap +150%). It also Counter Attacks the strongest enemy for +70% True Damage on a 10-second cooldown.

Alien Spider passives
Symbiotic Spider-Senses. On an attempted Stun, the unit dodges and releases a full AOE Counter Attack for 135% Damage.
Symbiotic Web Trap. Enemies leave a Web Trap for 6 seconds. Stepping on it Stuns for 3 seconds and applies Tethered, cutting movement by 45% permanently. The unit also applies Biomass permanently, and for every enemy with Biomass or Tethered in range it gains +10% Damage, +10% Range, and -1% SPA (cap 15 enemies).
We are One. After a hit, the Alien Spider adds a second instance of 70% Damage and applies Biomass permanently. Enemies with Biomass take +50% Damage from Dark units. When it attacks a Biomass enemy it did not infect, it lands a Follow-up Attack for 75% Damage that does not apply Biomass.
