Waterpark Simulator: How to Cool Down People on Fire (Yogi Quest)

Set your own guests ablaze in a maxed-out sauna, then douse five of them with the water gun to clear the yogi's task.

Set your own guests ablaze in a maxed-out sauna, then douse five of them with the water gun to clear the yogi’s task.

The yogi in Waterpark Simulator hands you a task that reads like a rescue mission and plays like arson. “Cool down people on fire” never tells you where these burning guests are, and that’s because the game expects you to create them yourself. Nobody spontaneously bursts into flames in your park until you turn up the heat.

Quick answer: Crank a sauna or hot tub to maximum temperature with a guest inside, wait a few seconds for them to catch fire and run out, then spray them with the water gun. Do this to five guests, and only the water gun counts.

What you need before you start

You pick up this task from the yogi standing outside near Caymart, marked with a yellow exclamation point. Talk to them to trigger it. Before you can make any progress, though, three things have to be in place.

RequirementHow to get it
Water gunUnlock it at the research table (press E to open it). It sits in the Attractions section after the Hot Dog Stand thread, then grab it from the board to your left.
Sauna or hot tubPlace one from the Build Menu. Wellness items have a green background in the menu. The first hot tub unlocks at the 3-star pool tier.
A working unitRepair the sauna or hot tub with your hammer after placing it so guests will actually use it.

The water gun is the only tool that registers for this task. The mop, spray can, or pushing guests into a pool will not count, no matter how wet the guest gets.

How to set guests on fire and put them out

Place your sauna or hot tub and repair it with the hammer. Then wait for a guest to walk in on their own. Leaving the temperature maxed out with nobody inside tends to scare guests away, so let someone settle in first.
Raise the temperature to the top. In a sauna, use the “+” button on the wall-mounted temperature controls. On a hot tub, press the button next to the current temperature reading. Ignore the guest’s requested temperature completely and push it as high as it goes.
Press Start. Within a few seconds the guest catches fire and comes running out screaming. Stand near the exit with your water gun ready instead of chasing them around the park.

Equip the water gun and spray the burning guest. A few sprays extinguishes the flames and ticks the task forward by one. Repeat until you have cooled down five guests total.
After each guest, drop the temperature back down so the next visitor is willing to use the sauna or hot tub. Then wait for someone new, crank it again, and spray. Cycling the temperature this way is faster than leaving it maxed out.

Tip: Waiting until two guests are inside before you turn up the heat gives you back-to-back targets and cuts down the standing around.

How to know it worked

Each guest you douse with the water gun advances the yogi’s counter, and clearing all five completes the quest. You’ll also see feedback pop up as you spray, such as “Awesome water shot!” and the occasional research point. The flames visibly go out on the guest once they’re cooled, which is your cue that the hit landed.

Why the task isn’t counting

If you set a guest on fire, sprayed them, and nothing happened, there are only a couple of reasons this task fails to register.

  • You used the wrong tool. Only the water gun counts. A mop or any other washing tool will cool the guest visually but won’t move the counter.
  • No guest is actually on fire. If you max the temperature with an empty sauna, visitors avoid it and nobody ignites. Someone has to be inside when you turn up the heat.

Once you’re switching to the water gun and only firing at guests who are genuinely burning, the five hits come quickly and the yogi’s task closes out.
