Making Our Move is one of the early Skyborne quests on Zephras Isle, the level 1–12 starting zone built for the new race in World of Warcraft: Forever. It is a straightforward clear-out job at the Shrine of Akir, but it asks for three separate kill tallies at once, and the enemy types are mixed together across the ruins rather than neatly grouped.
Quick answer: Take Making Our Move from Valentia Stormfist on Zephras Isle, travel to the Shrine of Akir, kill 6 Blademasters, 8 Guardians and 6 Spiritcallers, then report to Hyasua Quickbreeze.
Making Our Move objectives and kill counts
All three tallies run at the same time, so nothing is wasted while you fight through the ruins. The counters update independently, and the quest does not close out until every one of them is full.
| Enemy | Kills needed | Where they sit |
|---|---|---|
| Al’Aketh Blademaster | 6 | Stone plaza, paved ring, staircase |
| Al’Aketh Guardian | 8 | Grassy inclines and ruined columns |
| Al’Aketh Spiritcaller | 6 | Scattered casters across the ruins |
Guardians are the largest single requirement at 8 kills, and they tend to be the objective you finish last. If you want to avoid a long cleanup lap at the end, prioritize them whenever one is in range.

The quest giver is Valentia Stormfist on Zephras Isle. Open your map to place her, walk over, and accept Making Our Move from her dialogue window. The quest then marks its objective area on the map for you.

Zephras Isle and its starting questline are tied to the Skyborne race, which requires the Skyborne Heroic Pack or a higher edition. Without that, this quest chain will not be available to you.
Getting to the Shrine of Akir
Every kill for this quest happens at the Shrine of Akir, a ruined complex marked on the Zephras Isle map once the quest is in your log. Head there on foot from Valentia’s position. The Al’Aketh are already occupying the site, so expect to be in combat almost as soon as you reach the outer stonework.

Clearing the Al’Aketh at the Shrine of Akir
The three enemy types are mixed together rather than separated by area, so the cleanest approach is a single loop: start in the lower courtyard, work up through the paved ring, then sweep the grassy slopes and the staircase on the way to the top.
Al’Aketh Blademasters (6)
Blademasters are the melee fighters guarding the open stone plaza and the walkways above it. They come quickly and close the distance, so fight them one at a time where you can. The last one usually turns up near the stone staircase leading toward the upper shrine.

Al’Aketh Guardians (8)
Guardians are spread along the grassy incline and around the ruined columns at the edges of the shrine, which is why this counter fills slowest if you stay in the middle of the ruins. Ranged attacks work well here, since they often stand apart from one another and can be pulled individually. Toward the end you will usually find two of them close together, which is enough to finish the count in one fight.
Al’Aketh Spiritcallers (6)
Spiritcallers are the casters of the group and go down fast to ranged pressure. Lightning bolts or any other quick ranged ability will drop one before it does much back.

Spiritcallers can flee once their health drops low. Chase them down rather than letting them reset, or you will end up hunting stragglers around the ruins after everything else is done.

It is worth looting the bodies as you clear rather than doubling back later, since the route through the shrine keeps moving upward and you will not naturally return to the lower courtyard.

Turning in Making Our Move to Hyasua Quickbreeze
Once all three counters are full, the quest log swaps its kill objectives for a single new instruction: Report to Hyasua Quickbreeze. That prompt is your confirmation that the clearing phase is over and nothing was missed.
Hyasua Quickbreeze waits at the top of the stairs inside the Shrine of Akir, so you do not need to leave the ruins or return to Valentia Stormfist. Climb the staircase, speak to her, and hand in the quest to close it out and move on with the Zephras Isle questline.
If the report prompt has not appeared, one of the three counters is still short. Blademasters and Spiritcallers both cap at 6 and are easy to mistake for one another at a glance, so check the exact numbers in your quest log before sweeping the ruins again.
