Suisui works fine at S0, so her Resonance Chain is a bonus rather than a requirement. Each duplicate copy you pull unlocks one of six Sequence Nodes, and most of them push her further into the Negative Status support role she already dominates. Knowing which nodes add real value keeps you from spending extra pulls chasing small gains.
Quick answer: Stop at S2 if you plan to invest. S1 grants interruption immunity and opens her up to more Negative Status teams, and S2 layers a 50% Crit. DMG buff onto the whole party inside her field. S3 through S6 are usable but add little to her support output.

All six Suisui Sequence Nodes
Here is what every node does, in order. Suisui builds her rotation around switching from Zephyr Stance into Drizzle Stance, stacking Floral Epistle, and deploying Ceaseless Landscape through her Resonance Liberation. Several nodes tie directly into those systems.
| Node | Effect |
|---|---|
| S1 — Mountains Washed Into Paintings | The ATK bonus normally granted by consuming 600 Floral Epistle with Rippling Waters can also trigger by applying a Negative Status or dealing Negative Status DMG. Ceaseless Landscape lasts 30s, and the Reflecting Shadows from the third Plume Step lasts 100% longer. Basic Attack – Drizzle Stance, Heavy Attack – Drizzle Stance, and Swallow’s Cut become immune to interruption. |
| S2 — Clouds Pour Like Molten Gold | Party members inside Ceaseless Landscape gain 50% Crit. DMG for 30s after inflicting Spectro Frazzle, Fusion Burst, Glacio Chafe, Aero Erosion, or Electro Flare, dealing the matching Negative Status DMG, or consuming Havoc Bane stacks. The bonus turns off when the active member is outside the field. |
| S3 — Sparse Curtains Invite Evening Glow | Pressing Normal Attack shortly after Resonance Skill – Drizzle Stance triggers Basic Attack – Drizzle Stance Stage 4. That skill grants Kingfisher, and casting Stage 4 consumes it to restore 20 Concerto Energy and 350 Floral Epistle, once every 25s. |
| S4 — Autumn Mountains I Chant Together | Healing from Enrichment and Spring’s Birth is increased by 50%. |
| S5 — I Long To Ride The Eastern Wind | Basic Attack – Drizzle Stance and Heavy Attack – Drizzle Stance DMG Multipliers are increased by 100%. |
| S6 — Staying True To This Splendid Realm | The Crit. DMG of Intro Skill – Tinkling Jade and Awakening Spring is increased by 500%. |

S1 is the first meaningful upgrade. The interruption immunity on her Drizzle Stance attacks smooths out her rotation, and the extra way to trigger her ATK buff lets her slot into teams that lean on Fusion Burst or Spectro Frazzle rather than Glacio Chafe. The extended Ceaseless Landscape uptime also helps her keep her field active across a full team cycle.
S2 is the best stopping point for most players. A flat 50% Crit. DMG boost to every party member who can apply a Negative Status is one of her strongest off-field team buffs, and it works across nearly every element she supports. If you have the budget for a single meaningful investment, this is where to land.
Everything past S2 is optional. S3 speeds up her resource generation for faster swaps, and S4 pads out her healing. S5 and S6 raise her personal damage, which matters little for a unit you build purely as a healer and buffer. None of these change her core support role enough to justify the extra copies.
How to unlock Suisui’s Resonance Chain
Each Sequence Node costs one Waveband tied to Suisui specifically. The main way to earn them is pulling duplicate copies on her Convene banner, where every extra copy converts into one Waveband.
You can also buy Wavebands with Afterglow Coral, but a 5-star Resonator is capped at two purchasable Wavebands in the store at any time, and those slots do not refill. Featured limited banner units can be bought only while their banner is active. To fully max her Resonance Chain, you need all six nodes, which means owning Suisui plus six duplicates for a total of seven copies.
You will know a node applied when it appears filled in on her Resonance Chain screen and the listed effect goes live in combat. Given the store cap and the low value of her later nodes, saving Afterglow Coral is the safer play unless you specifically want S1 or S2.
