The Morphite Sentinel Pump Shotgun is the alternative worth carrying. It cannot one-shot a full-health player with a headshot in either mode, but it deals up to 199 damage at Legendary rarity. The Enhanced Sentinel Pump Shotgun bumps its maximum headshot damage to 205, and its fire rate is slightly faster than the Iron Pump to make up for lower average damage.
There is also the Unstable Frostfire Shotgun Exotic. It matches the damage of the Legendary Sentinel Pump Shotgun and adds either the Spicy Pepper effect or icy feet on your opponent.
Best assault rifles for mid and long range
The Morphite Hammer Assault Rifle is a heavy hitter built for mid-to-long-range fights. It upgrades itself to a higher rarity after you deal enough damage, which makes it one of the more dependable rifles in the pool. There is a small amount of bloom, but accuracy holds up well, and it fits neatly into your spray weapon slot as an all-purpose rifle.
The Tactical Assault Rifle returns for Springfield with a toon-inspired art style, and this version is a reliable medium-range choice. It sprays well thanks to relatively low bloom and respectable damage, and its integrated suppressor helps you catch opponents off guard.
Best pistols for burst damage
Mr. Blasty is unique to the Springfield map and one of its best pickups. It is often compared to the Mammoth Pistol, boasting high damage but with six rounds in the magazine instead of one. That makes it a strong long-range option with quick follow-up shots, though you need to land your aim.
The Exotic Krusty’s Mr. Blasty deals damage comparable to the Legendary version, with a twist. The first bullet fired creates a shockwave that applies balloons to players. It is not a must-use over the standard version, but it adds a fun gimmick.
The Morphite Mammoth Pistol is the other heavy hitter. It deals up to 173 damage when upgraded to Legendary rarity and works almost like a Sniper Rifle, which makes it dangerous since it is a hitscan weapon. The catch is that it only holds one round per magazine, so accuracy matters. If you find the Baron’s Double Down Pistol, you get two shots per magazine along with a damage increase.
