The locked garage in Clean all the leaves! stops many players early because the door itself gives no map marker. Walk up to it and the only prompt reads “Find the button to open it!”, with no arrow pointing you anywhere. The switch that opens it is not on the door and not in the yard. It sits inside the open shed just off to the side.
Quick answer: Enter the open shed to the right of the garage and press the large red dome button on the wooden counter, next to the green leaf bag. The garage door opens on its own and the quest updates to “You completed a quest!”
Where the garage button is
The button lives inside the shed, the small wooden building with an open door across the leaf-covered Frontyard. From the closed garage, turn around and head toward that shed rather than searching the door or the fence line. This is the same building that holds the tool shop, so you have likely passed it while buying upgrades.

Once inside, look at the counters. The button is a large, red dome switch resting on a wooden counter, right beside a green leaf bag. It stands out against the shop shelves, so you cannot easily miss it once you are through the door.

How to know it worked
Pressing the button triggers two clear confirmations. A “You completed a quest!” banner appears, and the garage door begins opening without any further input. Your objective also advances, moving from finding the button to completing the garage.
| Signal | What you see |
|---|---|
| Quest banner | “You completed a quest!” |
| Door state | Garage door opens on its own |
| Objective update | Progress shifts to completing the garage |
| New area | A hallway filled with yellow leaves is revealed |
Once the door is up, the open garage leads into a new hallway packed with yellow leaves. Sweep this area before heading back to old ground, since freshly opened zones are where leftover cleaning percentage tends to hide.
If the button does not open the garage
Some gated areas past the garage do not open from this switch alone. If a later gate still reads “Complete more zones first!”, that door is locked behind clearing progress rather than the garage button, so keep collecting and clearing zones until it unlocks. The red dome button only controls the garage door itself.
Note: The garage is one step in the wider collect, sell, upgrade, and unlock loop. Treat it as a marker to clear on your way toward a full 100% run and the game’s secret ending.
