Mortal Shell 2: Nameless Pass Beacon Walkthrough and All Items

Clear the Odious Crevice, grab the Charged Stone from the sarcophagus, and claim the Ova to cleanse the Nameless Pass Beacon.

Clear the Odious Crevice, grab the Charged Stone from the sarcophagus, and claim the Ova to cleanse the Nameless Pass Beacon.

The Nameless Pass Beacon sits in the Withered Shoals region of Mortal Shell 2 and is one of the shorter cleanse routes in the game. Selecting the cleanse option drops you into a compact cave called the Odious Crevice, where a handful of enemies stand between you and the Ova at the far end. Two things matter here: the Charged Stone hidden off the main path, and the Ova that completes the challenge.

Quick answer: Pick “Cleanse Beacon” at Nameless Pass, fight through the Odious Crevice, turn right to loot the Charged Stone from the sarcophagus, then run to the end of the cave and collect the Ova. The “BEACON CLEANSED” message confirms it is done.

What cleansing the Nameless Pass Beacon does

Beacons act as fast-travel points and restore your Health and Resolve when you rest at them. Cleansing a beacon is a separate action. You enter a short mini-dungeon, clear its enemies, and claim the Ova at the end. Nameless Pass counts toward the full beacon cleanse total, so finishing it here moves you closer to collecting every Ova in the world.

To start, stand at the Nameless Pass Beacon and choose CLEANSE BEACON from the menu. The prompt reads “Enter the Beacon to attempt the challenge of cleansing it of all corruption.” Once you accept, you spawn inside the beacon area and the run begins.

Odious Crevice walkthrough

After selecting the cleanse option, you appear inside the beacon and run forward past a stone throne. Keep moving along the passage until you reach the entrance to the Odious Crevice.

Enter the Odious Crevice and deal with the first enemy, a Dorsalite, that blocks the way in. Take it down before pushing deeper into the cave.
Work through the dark cave, mixing melee strikes with ranged fire from the Solomon sidearm to clear the enemies that ambush you along the path. Stay mobile in the tight spaces so you are not surrounded.

When the path branches, turn right to find a sarcophagus. Loot it for the Charged Stone before you continue, since it is easy to miss if you push straight ahead.

Return to the main route and run to the end of the cave. Interact with the Ova to trigger the “NEW OVA FOUND” prompt and cleanse the Nameless Pass Beacon.

All items in the Nameless Pass Beacon

ItemWhere to find it
Charged StoneInside the sarcophagus down the right-hand path in the Odious Crevice
OvaAt the very end of the cave; collecting it cleanses the beacon

Grab the Charged Stone first, because once you claim the Ova the challenge ends and you are returned out of the beacon. Make the right turn before the final stretch so you do not have to run the route again.

How to confirm the beacon is cleansed

You know the run worked when the “BEACON CLEANSED” message appears after you collect the Ova. The Ova is added to your total, and the quest prompt directs you to return it to the Twin Sister at your hub. From that point the beacon is marked complete and counts toward cleansing every beacon in the game.

If the cleanse does not register, the most common reason is leaving without interacting with the Ova at the end of the cave. Clearing enemies alone does not finish the challenge; you must reach the final chamber and claim the Ova for the beacon to count.
