The Blood of Dawnwalker: Enter Not Full Walkthrough

Get into the locked ruin in Lost Glen, recover the St. Jude figurine, and close out the prologue side quest.

Get into the locked ruin in Lost Glen, recover the St. Jude figurine, and close out the prologue side quest.

Enter Not is a short prologue side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker that hinges on one problem: the ruined house in Lost Glen has no usable door. The quest marker drops you outside a collapsed wooden building with nothing obvious to interact with, which is where most players stall.

Quick answer: Climb the wooden shed beside the ruined house in Lost Glen, drop through the broken roof, loot the corpse on the bed for the Figurine of St. Jude, then hand it to Father Florin at the church in Leslea.

Enter Not quest details

Enter Not is one of the prologue side quests, which means it sits alongside the timed content of Coen’s first day in Laslea. Prologue quests disappear once the prologue ends, so it can only be completed during that window. It is picked up as an available quest on the map rather than from a quest giver.

Note: prologue side quests are missable. If you push the day forward toward the Blood Mass without finishing this one, it is gone for that playthrough.

How to get inside the ruined house in Lost Glen

Open the map and zoom in on the Lost Glen area. The available quest marker sits near a ruined house and carries the prompt “A new story starts here.” Track it so the route stays on your compass.
Follow the wooded path to the ruined wooden house. The objective reads “Find a way inside the house,” and none of the ground-level entrances open, so ignore the doorway entirely.
Climb onto the small wooden shed attached to the side of the building. From the shed roof you can reach the main roof, which has already partially collapsed.
Drop through the hole in the roof to land inside. This is the only way in, and it counts as completing the entry objective the moment Coen lands.

Finding Ursula’s Confession and the Figurine of St. Jude

Inside, the objective updates to “Investigate the house using Focus Mode.” Focus Mode highlights the interactive points, including a marten’s den among the debris, which explains the smell but is not required for the quest.

The item that matters is on the corpse lying on the bed. Loot it to pick up Ursula’s Confession and the Figurine of St. Jude, along with Torn Clothes and the Lost Confession entry. The confession explains who died here; the figurine is the object the quest actually tracks.

Return the figurine to Father Florin in Leslea

Looting the corpse sets the final objective, “Return the figurine to Father Florin.” Open the map to place his marker at the church in Leslea, then travel there on foot.

The church is the fortified building in the village. Head through the main hall to the altar, where Father Florin is standing, and start the conversation.

Work through the dialogue and hand him the figurine. Florin fills in what happened to Ursula and states that he intends to destroy the figurine as a false idol, so there is no version of the quest where you keep it and still turn it in.

Confirming the quest completed

When the conversation with Florin ends, a “QUEST ENDED” banner appears naming Enter Not, and the reward is 2 XP. If the banner has not appeared, the figurine has not been handed over yet — exhaust the remaining dialogue options with Florin.

Two things commonly block completion. The first is trying to force a ground-floor entrance, which the shed climb solves. The second is leaving the ruin without looting the body, since the return objective never appears until the figurine is in your inventory.

Because time in The Blood of Dawnwalker only moves when you act, wandering to Lost Glen and back costs you nothing on its own — it is the quests and certain dialogue choices that push the clock. Enter Not is short enough to slot in between the prologue’s main errands, such as gathering herbs during Withering Away, before the Blood Mass forces the day to end.
