Gold moves slowly in The Blood of Dawnwalker, and weapon upgrades eat through it fast. A loot bug tied to one shopkeeper in Svartrau City short-circuits that entirely, letting you pull the same pair of bracers off a body as many times as you want and turn them into a pile of coin at the nearest merchant.
Quick answer: Kill the Armourer in Altenmarket, Svartrau City, then loot Darksteel Bracers from his corpse repeatedly — they never leave his inventory — and sell the stack to the Innkeeper or other nearby vendors.

Add to Google Preferences →Unlock Pack Mule first so you can run while overencumbered
The bracers have weight, and a few dozen of them will bury you. The Pack Mule line under Swordmastery fixes that. The first two levels add +30 and +60 maximum Carry Weight, and the third adds +100 and lets you run while Encumbered. Without that third level you will be stuck walking, and you will have to stop looting and reset trips far sooner.

Find and kill the Armourer in Altenmarket, Svartrau City
The Armourer keeps a shop in Altenmarket, the market district of Svartrau City. He is only inside during the day, so plan the trip for daylight rather than trying to catch him at night.

Note: this is a one-way door. Killing him permanently removes the shop, so any gear or crafting services you wanted from that merchant are gone for the rest of the playthrough.
Loot the Darksteel Bracers on repeat
The bug lives in the corpse’s inventory. His body holds Darksteel Bracers alongside ordinary loot such as Strong Spirits, and the bracers are never actually removed when you take them. Every “loot all” adds another pair to your bag while the original stays on the body.

Sell the bracers to Altenmarket vendors
Merchants carry a limited pool of gold, so a single trader will not buy an entire hoard in one go. Altenmarket helps here — the market has several vendors, plus an inn and a book shop within a short walk.
Tip: hold back a portion of the stack. If you clean out every trader in one visit, you will have nowhere to offload the rest until their gold recovers.
How to tell it worked, and why it might not
Confirmation is immediate. After you take the Darksteel Bracers, reopen the corpse and the same entry is still listed there. In your own inventory, the bracer count climbs with each pass. If the item vanishes from the body after one loot, the exploit is not firing.
The usual reasons it fails are simple. Arriving at night means the Armourer is not in the shop. Leaving guards alive drags you back into combat between loot attempts. And skipping the third Pack Mule level leaves you overloaded and unable to run, which turns each selling trip into a slow walk.
Rebel Wolves has already pushed hotfixes since launch, and duplication bugs like this are exactly the kind of thing that gets patched out. If you want the gold, do it on your current build and expect the behavior to change after a future update.

Weigh the trade before you commit. One dead shopkeeper buys you effectively unlimited coin for weapon upgrades, but that storefront never comes back, and the 30-day clock still governs everything else you do in Vale Sangora.
