War Tycoon drops you onto an empty plot with a pistol, a shield over your spawn, and almost no money. Everything that follows — walls, rifles, vehicles, rebirths — runs on one currency, and that currency comes out of oil extractors. Get the income loop running in the first minute and the rest of the base pays for itself while you walk around.
Quick answer: Hold E at the starter Oil Extractor to generate cash, walk into the green ATM to collect it, then buy Oil Extractor 2 for $30 so income becomes automatic. Spend everything after that on more extractors before you buy a single wall.
The money loop: oil extractors and the ATM
You start with exactly one extractor, and it is manual. Standing next to it does nothing on its own — you have to trigger the prompt. Every extractor you buy after that runs by itself, which is why the early game is really just a race to stop pressing buttons.
E when the green prompt appears. Keep triggering it until you have enough for the next purchase pad.

Extractor pads scale up in cost and output. Buy them in order and unlock every slot your plot allows before touching cosmetic or structural upgrades.
| Purchase | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Oil Extractor | $10 | Manual — requires the E prompt |
| Oil Extractor 2 | $30 | First automated income source |
| Large Oil Extractor | $70 | Higher passive output |
| Large Oil Extractor 2 | $300 | Buy once the smaller pads are done |
| Large Oil Extractor 3 | $400 | Final tier before defenses |

Add to Google Preferences →Following the Sergeant tutorial
An NPC named Sergeant walks you through the same loop with green arrows painted on the ground. His prompts arrive in a fixed order — use the money prompt, collect from the ATM, then unlock five more extractors. The last objective tracks your progress on screen as a counter, so you can see exactly how many pads you still owe him.

You will know a step registered when the counter increments and the green arrows redirect to the next pad. If the tutorial appears stuck, it is almost always because cash is still sitting uncollected at the ATM rather than in your balance.
Building base defenses and structure
Once income is stacking on its own, structural pads are the next spend. Each one is a coloured circle on the floor that charges you the listed price when you stand on it. Walls come before anything decorative — an open plot is trivial for another player to walk into.

| Structure | Cost | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Paths | $20 | Connects the plot; buy first as a prerequisite |
| Lower Walls | $30 | Ground-level perimeter cover |
| Upper Walls | $100 | Closes off the top of the perimeter |
| Bulletproof Glass | $100 | Blocks fire while keeping sightlines |
| Second Floor | $200 | Adds an upper level to the base |
| Owner Only Door | $150 | Restricts entry to you |
Note: a Shield Generator sits on a pad near your spawn. Buying it removes the Spawn Protection Shield, so leave it alone until your walls are finished and you actually want to leave the plot.
Unlocking weapons: M17 and M4A1
The M17 pistol is your default sidearm and is equipped from the start. The real upgrade is the M4A1 rifle, unlocked from an armory rack inside the base for $150. Buy the pad, then walk to the rack and press E on the weapon to pick it up and equip it.

Weapons stay on their racks, so you can swap loadouts by walking back through the armory rather than hunting through a menu.
Reading the tactical map
Press M to open the tactical map. It shows the island layout, player bases, enemy positions, and strategic points, and it is also where air strike options are listed. Check it before leaving your plot — the map is the fastest way to see whether anyone is sitting near your walls.
What rebirths unlock
Rebirthing resets your base progress and is the gate on the game’s bigger toys. Each tier adds a specific unlock, so there is no reason to rebirth before you have bought everything the current run allows.
| Rebirths | Unlocks |
|---|---|
| 1 | Trading Hub and new vehicles |
| 2 | New bunker |
| 3 | Helicopters |
| 4 | Military drones |
| 5 | Military jets |
The full sequence takes only a few minutes of real time. Load in through Quick Play, pick a base, farm the manual extractor until you can afford Oil Extractor 2, then let the passive income cover walls, glass, and the M4A1 while you learn the map.
