Towers in WARDOGS are the tallest fixed objectives inside the active Control Zone, and they do far more than hand snipers a good line of sight. Each one you capture reveals a digit, and collecting the full set lets your faction pull the Hot Zone toward a Tower you already hold. That single move can decide a match.
Quick answer: Capture Towers at their terminals to collect one code digit each, then enter the complete code on the keypad beside a Tower you control to activate the Hot Zone Magnet.

What Towers do in WARDOGS
Towers sit inside the Control Zone, the randomized area three factions fight over for points. There are usually between three and five of them in any given match, and the layout changes from game to game. Open your map at any time to see where each Tower stands, which faction currently holds it, and how much cooldown remains before it can be taken again.
Their value comes in two forms. The elevated position gives Recon players clear sightlines and makes a strong anchor for a forward operating base. More importantly, controlling Towers unlocks the code that lets you move the Hot Zone, the smaller zone that doubles your cash per score tick and counts every player inside as two for objective control.

F) to begin hacking. Stay put until the capture bar fills. You know it worked when the Tower flips to your team’s color and belongs to your faction.Hacking leaves you exposed, so capture with a small squad. One player holds the terminal while the rest cover the stairways and entrances, and nobody should abandon the building the moment the bar fills.

How Tower codes and the Hot Zone Magnet work
Each Tower reveals one digit, and the digits are randomized for the current match, so a code from an earlier game will not work again. Because every Tower holds a different piece, your faction has a reason to contest all of them rather than defending a single position. Share every digit you find in chat, and if you already hold three of four you can often guess the last one.
Once you have the complete sequence, go to a Tower your side still controls, interact with the keypad next to the main console, and punch in the code. Entering the correct combination activates the Hot Zone Magnet, which forces the Hot Zone to travel across the map and settle directly on top of that Tower for a set period before it returns to its normal behavior.
You can confirm it triggered by opening the map. White dashed lines run from the Hot Zone toward the Tower that activated the code, showing exactly where the zone is headed and who pulled it.
The Tower you submit the code from matters. Pick one already surrounded by friendly players, a FOB, supplies, and prepared defenses so rival factions have to attack you on your own ground instead of the other way around.

Why moving the Hot Zone pays off
The Hot Zone is the real prize behind the Tower system. Every player standing inside it counts as two for objective control and earns double cash per score tick, so holding it swings both the point total and your team’s economy at once. More cash means better loadouts, which compounds the advantage across lives.
Dragging that zone onto a position you have already fortified turns a scramble into a defense you set the terms for. Restock ammunition, set up reliable spawns and medics, fortify the obvious entrances, and place shooters where they can cover the approaches before the zone arrives, because both enemy factions will follow it straight to you.
Building your own drill site
Towers are not the only route to the Hot Zone Magnet. With the right tools, you can construct a Buildable Drill Site on a faction-owned FOB, which acts as a mini-Tower. Fuel it to the maximum of 6000/6000 and you can activate the drill to pull the Hot Zone just like a captured Tower, letting you run both mechanics for maximum pressure.
Keeping a drill charged draws on the High Capacity Battery, which recharges Drills and Defibrillators. It costs $300, weighs 2.0 kg, and unlocks at Wardog level 45 for a one-time fee of $50,000.

Which maps have Towers
Both playable maps use Towers as a major objective: Bakurani and Ozeti. Since WARDOGS is still in early access, the number of Towers, their placements, and the way the systems interact can shift between builds, so treat the map screen as your source of truth each match rather than a route memorized from a previous game.
