How to Get Glacy and Leafy in Aniimo (Skippy Evolution Guide)

The Skippy family is one of the first branching evolution lines you will run into in Idyll, and it is also one of the easiest to get wrong. The line starts with a Water healer, splits once, and the split is permanent for that creature. Everything below covers the levels, stones, and the one unlock condition that separates the two Nova-stage results.

Quick answer: Raise Skippy to level 12 for Pranky. At level 20, Pranky evolves into either Glacy using a Wave Stone, or Leafy after you defeat the Alpha Leafy and use a Sprout Stone. One Pranky, one path.

Skippy evolution requirements and costs

EvolutionLevelExtra requirements
Skippy → PrankyLv. 12None
Pranky → GlacyLv. 20Wave Stone x1
Pranky → LeafyLv. 20Defeat the Alpha Leafy; Sprout Stone x1

Those three lines are the whole family tree. Glacy and Leafy are both Nova-stage endpoints, and neither one evolves again.

Glacy and Leafy are parallel choices from the same creature, not two steps in a row. A Pranky that becomes Glacy can never become Leafy, and the reverse is also true. If you want both, you need two Prankys.

Where to find Skippy and how to reach Pranky

Skippy is a Lumin-stage Water Aniimo in the Heal role, standing 0.6m tall and weighing 12kg. It lives in the Breezy Plains region and shows up in Nimbus Fields, The Mistwoods, and the Forest of Falling Stars, where it hides under a lotus leaf and watches you from the water.

Catch a Skippy in any of its three habitats. Its base stats are modest — 80 HP, 70 attack, 66 defense, 70 magic attack, 76 magic defense, and 60 EP regen — so it is best used as a pocket healer while it levels.
Get it to level 12. No stone, item, or location condition applies here. The evolution into Pranky is purely a level check.

Pranky keeps the Water typing and the Heal role at Gamma stage, growing to 0.9m and 16kg, with 109 HP, 85 attack, 66 defense, 85 magic attack, 98 magic defense, and 74 EP regen. It roams the same three areas as Skippy, so you can also catch one directly instead of evolving your own.

Pranky to Glacy: the Wave Stone path

This is the simpler of the two branches. Bring Pranky to level 20 and spend a Wave Stone (one is required). There is no boss, no terrain condition, and nothing to unlock first.

Glacy arrives as a Water/Ice healer at 1.8m and 22kg, with 120 HP, 95 attack, 72 defense, 95 magic attack, a standout 110 magic defense, and 88 EP regen. It keeps the family’s Water toolkit and adds two new options on top.

Glacy

  • Healing Water — restores HP to the whole party and keeps healing the caster over time. Costs 20 EP with a 20s cooldown.
  • Spring of Life — drops a circular water zone at a fixed spot that heals allies standing in it for 36% of Glacy’s max HP. No EP cost, 8s cooldown.
  • Water Orb — an aimable ranged shot with 30 power.
  • Bubble Rush — a held attack at 32 power that keeps spitting bubbles and draining EP for as long as you hold the button.

Healing Water and Spring of Life carry no damage value at all. They are pure sustain tools, so treat them as party upkeep rather than filler attacks.

Pranky to Leafy: the Alpha Leafy path

The second branch has real prerequisites, and skipping any of them means the option never appears. Everything happens around the giant lotus leaves in The Mistwoods.

Get your Pranky to level 20. The level requirement is identical to the Glacy branch, so a Pranky that is ready for one is ready for the other.
Find and defeat the Alpha Leafy. This fight is the unlock for the whole branch.
Stand on the giant lotus leaf where the Alpha Leafy resides, supported by the giant leaves. The evolution is tied to that specific spot, not just to the area.
Spend a Sprout Stone (one is required) to complete the evolution.

Leafy is the odd one out in the family. It comes out as a Grass/Water Aniimo in the Energy role at 1.8m and 22kg, with 120 HP, 95 attack, 82 defense, 95 magic attack, 82 magic defense, and the line’s highest EP regen at 106. It also lives wild in The Mistwoods.

Vine Entanglement hits in a circle around your target and locks anything standing on grass into a Stunned state, which is why Cyclone of Leaves matters so much. The cyclone lays Turf around Leafy and along its path for 20 seconds, giving you the grass you need for the stun. Vitality Blooms is the support piece with no damage attached, creating a field underfoot that feeds EP to Grass-type teammates and upgrades nearby Turf so it also ticks HP back. Lotus Bloom is the innate finisher, a lotus cocoon that bursts open to heal the whole team and boost the party’s Grass damage for a short window.

How to confirm the evolution worked

The Aniimo’s entry moves from the Gamma stage slot to a Nova stage slot and the name changes on its card. Glacy picks up its Ice typing alongside Water and gains Bubble Rush and Spring of Life. Leafy swaps the family’s Water kit entirely for the Grass set in the table above, and its role changes from Heal to Energy. If the role label has not changed, the evolution did not go through.

Glacy or Leafy: which branch to pick

StatGlacyLeafy
HP120120
Attack9595
Defense7282
Magic attack9595
Magic defense11082
EP regen88106

The stat split is the clearest tiebreaker. Glacy is the sturdier magic wall and the better straight healer, while Leafy trades magic defense for physical defense and a much faster EP engine to fuel its Turf setup.

Typing pushes the choice further apart. Water attacks land for 1.6x against Fire and Rock but drop to 0.625x against Grass, Holy, Ice, and Water. Ice attacks hit Electric and Water for 1.6x and fall off against Fire, Ice, and Rock. Grass attacks deal 1.6x to Rock and Water and 0.625x to Fire, Grass, and Holy. So Glacy is the answer for Fire and Rock-heavy areas, and Leafy is the one you want when a team is leaning on Grass damage that it can amplify.

Regional and Prismana forms in the Skippy family

Skippy, Pranky, and Glacy each have a Sea of Flowers form and a Snowfield form, with identical base stats to the standard versions. The Sea of Flowers versions are pink-tinted and live in the Sea of Flowers. The Snowfield versions live in Driftwise Meadow, and they are Water/Ice from the very first stage. Ice Orb is exclusive to the Snowfield forms of Skippy, Pranky, and Glacy, so the standard forms do not learn it.

These regional lines follow the same level gates — 12 into Pranky, 20 into Glacy — and the Glacy step still costs one Wave Stone. The recorded path for both regional forms ends at Glacy; the Leafy branch belongs to the standard line. Leafy itself has no alternate forms.

There is also a Prismana form of Glacy, found in Driftwise Meadow. It swaps Ice for Holy alongside Water, reaches element level 4, and is the only form in the family with Glimmer Shot, a 20-power Holy orb that raises the whole team’s damage on hit. Encountering one is also a listed research task for the standard Glacy.

If you are collecting the full Aniilog, the cleanest approach is to raise two Prankys before you touch either stone, park one near the giant lotus leaves in The Mistwoods, and leave the other free for the Wave Stone. That way a single fork does not cost you an entry.
