Every new Aniimo account gets one free rare Prismana, and it is a one-time selection. The launch promotion previews six creatures, but the closed beta version of the same reward offered 14, so the list you actually see when you claim it may be longer. The pick matters less for raw power than most players assume and more for what element and skill your team is missing.
Quick answer: Take Grizbo if your screen shows only the six launch options, since its Earth/Dark typing covers five offensive elements. If Glacy appears in the list, pick Glacy instead.
What a Prismana form changes in Aniimo
A Prismana form is not an upgraded stat block. A Prismana Aniimo has exactly the same base HP, ATK, defenses, REGEN and BREAK values as its normal version. What changes is the element, often by adding a second one, plus access to an exclusive skill the base form can never learn, and in some cases a different trait.
That makes elemental math the real deciding factor. Three numbers drive every choice here:
- A super-effective hit deals 1.6x damage.
- A resisted hit deals 0.625x damage.
- If both of a dual-typed Aniimo’s elements are weak to the same attacking element, it takes 2.56x damage.
A second element cuts both ways. It widens what you hit hard, and it widens what hits you hard. Thornblade is the clearest example: adding Water to Grass cancels the Fire weakness outright, because 1.6x Grass multiplied by 0.625x Water resistance lands on neutral 1.0x, but it opens new weaknesses to Lightning and Ice.

The reward unlocks at the Junior Wayfarer milestone rank, which most players reach around level 20 by simply pushing through the main story and exploring Idyll. There is no separate event to enter and no code to redeem. The selection appears as part of the milestone rank promotion, and once you confirm, the Aniimo is added to your collection in its Prismana form.

Check the live selection screen before you commit. The launch art advertises six Prismana, but the beta version of the same reward listed all 14, and the extended roster contains stronger picks than anything in the six.
The six launch Prismana compared
| Aniimo | Prismana typing | Role | ATK |
|---|---|---|---|
| Earth + Dark | DPS | 126 | |
| Dark | DPS | 128 | |
| Grass + Water | DPS | 121 | |
| Witchin | Dark + Grass | Regen | 80 |
| Dark + Wind | Support | 90 | |
| Fire | DPS | 115 |
Grizbo: The safest pick of the six
Normal Grizbo is pure Earth, which is super-effective against Lightning and Ice. The Prismana version adds Dark on top, and Dark is super-effective against Fire, Grass and Light. That single team slot now hits five different elements for bonus damage, which is the widest coverage available in the launch six.

The exclusive skill, Claw of Madness, is a Dark attack that costs 10 EP and claws the target up to four times. The fourth hit grants the next skill double Rage, and while Enraged each hit applies Claw Mark stacks up to a cap of 12. Its cost and power match the Earth version it replaces, so you are buying coverage rather than a damage increase. The trade is defensive: Grizbo picks up Dark’s weaknesses alongside Earth’s.
Pawney: Burst damage for BREAK teams
Pawney has the highest attack in the group and a BREAK stat of 55, but the draw is the Pursuit trait, which adds 30% damage against targets that are broken or affected by control effects. The loop is simple. Break the enemy with a dedicated breaker, swap to Pawney, and dump everything into the window.
Be clear about what the Prismana form gives you here, though: Pawney is Dark normally and Dark as a Prismana. You are claiming a strong Aniimo, not a transformed one.

Thornblade: A matchup trade, not an upgrade
Grass plus Water erases Thornblade’s Fire problem and hands it Lightning and Ice weaknesses instead. That is a genuine improvement if the content you are stuck on leans on Fire enemies, and a downgrade if it does not. Pick Thornblade only if you already know which matchups you want to cover.

Witchin: Utility and anti-heal
Witchin has the highest total stat spread of the six and is built for REGEN and EP management rather than damage. Malice Burst cuts the healing a target receives by 50% for 10 seconds, which is valuable against bosses and healing-heavy opponents and close to dead weight against anything that never heals. The Prank trait applies a debuff every 18 seconds, and Luminous Seed helps light dark areas during exploration.
Dark and Grass are both weak to Wind, so Wind attacks land on Witchin for 2.56x damage. That is a real liability if other members of your team share the weakness.
Turbo: Only for a Dark-focused team
Prismana Turbo is a Dark/Wind support whose Nebula Burst raises the team’s Dark damage by 6%, rising to 11% once the skill is upgraded, for 15 seconds. Its Shrouded in Mist mechanic triggers after six basic attacks and enhances the next skill used. All of that is strong inside a Dark lineup and close to worthless outside one, so it is the most team-dependent option in the six.

Scorchhowl: The weakest use of the free slot
Scorchhowl itself is a perfectly good Fire DPS. Its Scorching Flames trait adds 15% damage against targets weak to Fire, and Fire Kick grants 20% more damage for 20 seconds on a well-timed dodge. The problem is the Prismana form stays pure Fire, so it gains no new coverage and plays the same as the version you can catch yourself. Choose it because you like Scorchhowl, not because it is the best value.

If the full 14-Prismana list is available
Eight more Prismana appeared in the beta version of this reward, and two of them outrank everything in the launch six.

| Aniimo | Role | Standout effect |
|---|---|---|
| Healer / buffer | +15% team damage for 15s | |
| BREAK enabler | 5 stacks of Water Debuff | |
| Ranged DPS | Dark/Ice, five-element coverage | |
| DPS | Lightning/Dark, five-element coverage | |
| Lightning support | +25% Lightning damage for 15s | |
| Ranged DPS | +30% self damage buff | |
| Burst DPS | +40% basic attack damage | |
| Tank / BREAK | Water weakness cut to 1.6x |
Glacy is the strongest overall claim. Healing Water restores HP for the whole party, Glimmer Shot raises the entire team’s damage regardless of element, and its perk reduces EP skill cost by 10% while you are on water terrain. Universal healing and a universal damage buff stay useful long after your early carries get replaced, which is exactly what you want from a one-time reward.
Panpanta is the pick if you already own strong attackers. It is a dedicated breaker with a base BREAK stat of 100, and its Water Cannonade jumps and throws a large water ball that deals AoE damage, leaves a puddle and applies five stacks of Water Debuff for 20 EP. Hydro Roll improves BREAK efficiency near puddles. It also pairs naturally with Pawney, whose bonus damage only fires once a target is broken or controlled.
Stellarys and Blazen are the coverage carries. Both reach five offensive elements through their Prismana typing, and Stellarys has been one of the game’s strongest units since the first beta, with a ranged playstyle that keeps you out of melee range.

The rest are conditional. Luminelle is excellent but only inside a Lightning team. Magmarex mainly earns its keep by halving its own Water problem, dropping that matchup from 2.56x to 1.6x. Ignitis and Cornet are capable attackers competing in the most crowded role, which makes them poor spends for a single free selection.
Five checks before you confirm your pick
- Does the added element create new weaknesses, and does it remove any?
- Is there a 2.56x weakness hiding in the new dual typing?
- What offensive coverage do you gain, and does your current team already have it?
- Is the exclusive Prismana skill meaningfully better than the base version’s skill?
- Does it fit the team you are actually building, and what are you giving up to take it?
Run those five questions against your roster and the answer usually picks itself. If you have no healer, take Glacy. If you have no reliable carry, take Grizbo. If your attackers are already strong but nothing breaks enemies quickly, take Panpanta.
One thing worth keeping in perspective: this is not your only route to a Prismana. Later systems including Prismana Flow and the Nurture feature let you obtain rare forms yourself, though Nurture requires clearing Sanctums and collecting Ambers first. The free reward is a shortcut that hands you one strong rare form early, so spend it on the role your account is missing rather than on the creature that looks best in its Prismana coat.
