How to Complete Threat from Below in World of Warcraft (Durotar Walkthrough)

Threat from Below is a short Horde quest in Durotar that asks you to gather evidence of an attack along the Scuttle Coast, just east of Razor Hill. All three objectives are ground pickups, so there is no fighting required to finish it.

Quick answer: Pick up Threat from Below from Heglan Shadeeye, then collect the Broken Bone Trident, the Orcish Dagger (shown as Abandoned Dagger), and the Banner Scrap (shown as Scraps) along the Scuttle Coast, and turn in at Razor Hill.

Where Threat from Below starts and its requirements

The quest is offered by Heglan Shadeeye and turns in to Orgnil Soulscar back in Razor Hill. Everything you need is within the stretch of coastline directly east of the town, so open your Durotar map and look for the Scuttle Coast subzone.

The three items and their spawn spots

Each objective is a separate glowing object on the ground. They sit fairly close together, so a single loop along the coast collects all three.

Walkthrough: collecting all three items

Accept Threat from Below and ride east out of Razor Hill onto the Scuttle Coast. Watch out for Durotar Tigers, Razor Vipers, and Dustwind Savages roaming the path, though none of them need to be killed for the quest.

Find the Broken Bone Trident lying on the dirt near a hut on the coast. Interact with it to register the first objective.

Move west onto the cracked, red soil where the Clattering Scorpids wander. Look for the Abandoned Dagger on the ground and interact with it to collect the Orcish Dagger.

Head northeast toward the palm trees along the shoreline. Interact with the Scraps under the trees to pick up the Banner Scrap, which is the final objective.

With all three items in your bags, run back west to Razor Hill and hand the quest in to Orgnil Soulscar.

These spawns are shared in the open world. If another player grabs an item just before you, it disappears from the ground and will reappear after it respawns, so wait a moment or move to the next objective and circle back.

Confirming the quest is complete

Each objective flips to 1/1 in your quest tracker the moment you loot the matching object. Once all three read 1/1, the quest can be turned in at Razor Hill, and completion is confirmed when you receive the experience and reputation rewards.
