In Fisch, the Witch Kitty is a little companion that glows green. It is available only during FischFright 3, the 2026 Halloween event, and can be found only on the event island, Caustic Hallow. It roams among several spawn points instead of staying put, so locating it is the main challenge. The cost to unlock it is low once you find it.
Quick answer: Take 10 or more Treats to Caustic Hallow, search the church, mansion and fountain houses, speak to the green cat, and spend 10 Treats. Afterward, equip it through the Companions menu.
Witch Kitty requirements in Fisch
The unlock costs 10 Treats, which is very low next to the rest of the event shop. You have to be holding those Treats when you reach the cat, though. If you find it with an empty wallet, you may lose it before you can come back with the currency.
- FischFright 3 must be active. The event went live at 16:00 UTC on October 17, 2026, and its end date has not been announced.
- At least 10 Treats are required; this currency is exclusive to the event.
- You need to get to Caustic Hallow, the only place the cat spawns.
- A glider is optional but makes it much faster to check ledges and high ground.
Treats are straightforward to collect: sell FischFright 3 catches to the Frightful Merchant, complete event NPC quests, visit island homes for trick-or-treating with the Candy Bucket equipped, open Frightful Caskets, or redeem codes. One NPC quest or a handful of doorsteps should earn enough for the cat.

Sail in the dialogue. The ship takes everyone on deck to the island, and “Caustic Hallow” appears on screen when you arrive.Island signposts mark the way to the Graveyard, Fountain, Cornmaze and Bat Cave. These landmarks are close to most of the cat’s hiding places.
Witch Kitty spawn locations on Caustic Hallow
The cat moves between a fixed set of spawn points around the island. Three of them have known GPS coordinates, and players report the church spot most often. The others sit in the same neighborhoods, so one loop covers them all.
| Spawn area | Where to look | GPS |
|---|---|---|
| Front of the church | Near Sister Sepulcher and Harker Holt | -15171.7, 167.6, -9637.0 |
| Graveyard walls | Stone walls, ledges, corners | Next to the church |
| Raised paths behind the church | Grassy ledges, cliff walkways | Behind the church buildings |
| Behind the Mansion | Lone raised platform | -15059.0, 242.1, -10164.5 |
| Leaf pile by the Rave Disco Ball | Heap of leaves near the cliff | -14473.7, 202.1, -9878.1 |
| Central fountain | Plaza, houses on the right | Middle of town |
| Webridden Cavern | Stone platforms over acid | Inside the cavern |
| Acid-side village houses | Backs of houses, pumpkin patch | Along the toxic rivers |
Church, graveyard and the paths behind them
Start at the church near Doomsekkar. First check the area in front of the doors, where the cat tends to stand by Sister Sepulcher or next to Harker Holt under the light. Then walk the stone wall around the church and the graveyard beside it. The cat is tiny and likes to sit in corners or on top of ledges, so look along the edges rather than across the open ground.

A rocky slope rises behind the buildings beside the church, with paths crossing the cliffs. Take a glider up and search the grassy areas and path edges. The cat appears here frequently, but street level gives you no view of it.
Hilltop Mansion
Head for the mansion atop the hill and search its grounds, balconies and surrounding pumpkin patches. The spawn with coordinates lies around the rear. Continue past the entrance, then look overhead for a single raised platform. It is hidden from the main path, and reaching it is easiest with a glider.

Central fountain and the houses beside it
One spawn point is the green, tiered fountain at the center of the town square. More commonly, the cat hides beyond the houses to its right. Foliage screens that area from the plaza, so enter the passage behind the buildings to search.

Rave Disco Ball leaf pile
From the Rave Disco Ball, keep walking straight until you reach the cliff. A heap of leaves sits there, and the cat curls up in it. You can also start from the ship’s landing spot on Caustic Hallow and head toward the same cliff.
Webridden Cavern
Inside Webridden Cavern, the floor is mostly toxic green liquid with stone platforms across it. Hop from platform to platform and check each one. Watch for the “[Webbed]” status while you’re in there.

Village houses along the acid rivers
The smaller houses on the edge of town have toxic rivers running past them. Walk behind each house and through the pumpkin patches, and check the ledges where the ground meets the acid.

How the Witch Kitty spawns and despawns
The Witch Kitty can appear at any time at any of the locations listed above. If left alone, it vanishes after roughly five minutes. Not finding it at one spot doesn’t mean it has left for good: search elsewhere on the island or wait for another spawn.
Searching in a fixed order works best. Start at the church, climb to the paths behind it, swing past the mansion, then drop down to the fountain houses. That loop covers the most common spots without backtracking. If a couple of laps turn up nothing, switch to a different server and start the loop again.
Look for a “meow…” label over a small glowing cat. If other players are already crowding around one spot, the cat is usually right there.
Unlock and equip the Witch Kitty
To confirm the unlock worked, check two things. Your Treats balance should be 10 lower, and Witch Kitty should appear as an equippable entry in your Companion Satchel. The unlock is permanent, so you can swap the cat in and out whenever you like.
Witch Kitty skins from the Kitty NPC
After you get the cat, a Kitty NPC called Vanni Kitty gives quests for alternate looks. Vanni stands near Dentist Dreadmore in the center of Caustic Hallow Town, at GPS -14706.0, 146.8, -9723.2. A new quest rotates in daily, and each remains available for only 24 hours, so return each day during the event.
| Skin | Quest | How to finish it |
|---|---|---|
| Vanni Kitty | For this quest, catch 10 fish bearing the Gleebous Mutation during FischFright 3. | Equip the Blade of Glorp while fishing |
| Omojilea | Obtain 1 Giant Plush Nessie originally caught by you | Trick-or-treat, then visit the Appraiser |
The Vanni Kitty quest is titled “Kitty Quest: Extraterrestial Frights.” Only event fish that carry the Gleebous Mutation count toward it, so check each catch before you head back. For Omojilea, wear a high-tier mask such as Leviathan or Mossjaw while trick-or-treating to get a Plush Nessie. Then have the Appraiser give it the Giant attribute. The Nessie has to be one you caught yourself. When you return to the Kitty NPC with the quest done, the skin is added to Witch Kitty, and you can pick it from the Companions menu alongside the default look.
