Fake an Egg Roblox: How to Get Better Pets and Rebirth Fast

In Fake an Egg, progress runs on a short loop. You collect eggs from the central field, hatch them in your pen, let the pets generate cash, and then Rebirth for permanent multipliers. Rebirthing wipes only your cash, so every pet you hatch and every item you own stays with you. That makes an early first Rebirth a safe move.

Quick answer: Hatch one Chicken Egg and hold $3,000 in cash, then step onto the Rebirth circle and confirm. You keep your pets and gain x2 Cash Multi, x1.1 Hatch Speed, and the Apple food.

Rebirth 1 requirements and rewards in Fake an Egg

Walk onto the glowing Rebirth circle near spawn to open the Rebirth menu. It lists two numbered tasks with live counters, so you can see how close you are before you commit to anything.

Requirement 1 is to hatch one Chicken Egg, shown as a 0/1 counter.
Requirement 2 is to earn $3.0K in cash.
The rewards are x2 Cash Multi, x1.1 Hatch Speed, and access to Apple pet food.
A skip option costs 3 Robux.

The cash goal is easy to hit early. It’s common to clear $3,000 well before you find a Chicken Egg, which means the egg is usually the part that holds you back.

How to hatch eggs in your pen

Every egg on the field shows a floating label with its name, rarity, price, and a timer. Here’s a sample of what spawns, from cheap commons up to the high-end drops.

Variant eggs also appear, such as a DIAMOND Llama Egg, and they can hatch into upgraded pets like a GOLD Llama. Better rarities pay more per second. A Bunny earns about $4/s, while a GOLD Llama earns $108/s.

Fly or walk across the central field until you find the egg you want. For Rebirth 1, that’s a Chicken Egg.

Pick the egg up and carry it back to your own pen, which is labeled with your username.

Set the egg on one of the nest pads inside the pen. A countdown appears on the pad, and the pet hatches when it hits zero. You can also pay Robux to skip the timer.

Once a pet hatches, it stays in the pen and earns cash. Pets keep earning while you’re offline, too.

Faster cash: Index rewards and the pet feeder

Two systems add to your income without any extra hatching. The first is the Index. Every new pet you discover unlocks a one-time reward there, and those rewards aren’t paid out until you claim them. A common Bunny, for example, pays $10.0K plus 1 Gold Bar. Open the Index after each new hatch and press CLAIM.

The second is the feeder trough inside your pen. A full feeder gives +50% PET CASH. You fill it with food from the Pet Food stall.

Stall stock is limited. One check showed only two Carrots for sale. After buying food, go back to your pen, stand next to the trough, and use the Add Food prompt to put it in.

Egg scanners: Checking for fake eggs before you hatch

Some eggs on the field are fakes. The Scanners stall sells tools that tell you whether an egg is real before you pick it up, so you don’t waste time on a dud. Each tier covers eggs up to its rarity, and the higher tiers require higher Rebirths.

Since better scanners are locked behind Rebirth 3 and higher, each Rebirth also widens the range of eggs you can safely verify.

Weather Machine traits and cash multipliers

The Weather Machine stall starts a weather event for 29 Robux. Each event gives eggs a trait that multiplies their cash output. When nothing is active, the default weather reads Sunny.

You don’t need weather for the first Rebirth. It’s a Robux-only boost that becomes more useful once you’re chasing expensive eggs.

How to confirm your Rebirth is ready

Go back to the Rebirth circle and open the menu again. The egg task should read 1/1, and your cash total should be at or above $3.0K. When both are met, confirm the Rebirth. Your cash resets to zero, but your pets stay in the pen and earn at the new x2 multiplier. The Apple also shows up at the Pet Food stall, and the Rebirth menu moves on to the next set of requirements.
