The Doctor is the Lieutenant who holds Mirae General Hospital in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ mode. The hospital’s compass threat is LOW, but he is not a pushover. He wears a blood-spattered white protective suit and a gas mask, and he walks straight up to your squad to fight at point-blank range.

Quick answer: Follow the “Kill the Doctor” marker to Mirae General Hospital. Fight him as a squad from cover and aim sustained fire at his chest and head. Then extract with his tag for $25,000.

Where The Doctor is at Mirae General Hospital

The side op leads you to him. As you get near the hospital, it reads “Reach the Lieutenant’s Location”. Once you are close, it changes to “Kill the Doctor”, and the HUD marker shows how far away he is. You can follow that marker from hundreds of metres out. When you reach him, a banner appears that reads LIEUTENANT / THE DOCTOR / MIRAE GENERAL HOSPITAL.

He does not stay in one fixed room. His position changes from match to match, so let the marker guide you instead of heading to a remembered spot.

The wards spawn appears during MISSION: OPERATION CRITICAL EXTRACTION, the mission whose objective is “Find General Kang”. In a free match, he can be waiting in the garage under the hospital instead.

How to beat The Doctor in DMZ

The Doctor is a bulky heavy who closes the distance and hits hard enough to down an operator quickly. Bring armor plates, bandages and a Medkit. Plate up behind cover between his pushes, and keep your squad spread out so he cannot reach everyone at once.

The Doctor in the wards

Regular hospital guards hold the corridors and the nurses’ station, so you fight them first. After that, The Doctor comes through a doorway straight at you. He stands over downed players at melee distance. Put teammates across the room and at the doorway, then keep firing assault rifles into his chest and head until he falls. If you go down, use “Hold to Sacrifice Health to Revive” or wait for a squadmate to revive you.

The Doctor in the parking garage

Deal with the guards on the street and near the garage entrance first, using a scoped rifle to eliminate them from a distance. Next, descend into the garage and engage The Doctor at close quarters. A headshot with an assault rifle can finish him.

When he dies, the screen shows SIDE OP COMPLETE / KILL THE DOCTOR with a +500 side-op line. Picking up his tag shows KILL CONFIRMED.

Where The Doctor’s key goes: the 7th-floor Command Office

His LEGENDARY key opens THE DOCTOR’S COMMAND OFFICE on the 7th floor of the hospital. Take the stairwell up until the landing sign lists 사무실 701-712 OFFICE and 회의실 704 | 705 CONFERENCE ROOM. The office is behind a pale wooden door off the hallway. If you don’t have the key, the prompt reads “THE DOCTOR’S COMMAND OFFICE – LOCKED”. With the key, you can open it and reach the LT CRATE inside, which holds the Tempered Armor Vest recipe.
