How to Complete Radiation Station in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ

Radiation Station is a DMZ order in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 that has you gear up for radiation and then work inside it. It sits as order 02 on the page labelled DMZ ORDERS PG 7, between 01 RECOGNITION and 03 HEALER. That page has no chapter label. You can finish all three tasks in one trip into Hajin.

Quick answer: In Hajin, enter the Hanrim Village fire station and loot three gas masks or pill bottles. Equip a Gas Mask, then open five containers in the radiation zone at the Haneul Nuclear Reactor.

Radiation Station tasks

The order lists three tasks. Each one tracks progress on its own line.

Locate a Fire Station
Loot 3 Gas Masks or Radiation Pill Bottles (0/3)
Search 5 Containers While in Radiation (0/5)

The first two tasks happen in the same building. The third needs a Gas Mask from that building, so do the tasks in the order they are listed.

Fire station in Hanrim Village: Locate it and loot gas masks

Deploy into Hajin. Free Roam works for this order.

Open the Tac Map and find a FIRE STATION marker. The one in Hanrim Village counts for the order. It sits between the 14th Political Prison to its north-west and Chang-san Air Base to its south-west. When you arrive, the screen shows “Hanrim Village” at the top.

Walk inside the fire station. “Locate a Fire Station” ticks off right away.

Search the lockers and medical bags inside the building. Gas masks and pill bottles both count toward the same total of three, and any mix of the two fills it.

Container	Item for the order	Other loot
INDUSTRIAL LOCKER	GAS MASK	Binding Catalyst, Synthetics
MEDICAL BAG (on shelves)	Pill bottle	—

The Gas Mask card shows it as RARE GEAR, with the text “Personal protective equipment to protect the wearer from radiation.” Its options are EQUIP, BACKPACK and PING. Once you have looted the station’s lockers and bags, the order reads 3/3, and “Locate a Fire Station” is ticked too.

Keep at least one Gas Mask. You need to wear it for the final task.

Search 5 containers in radiation at Haneul Nuclear Reactor

The coastal Haneul Nuclear Reactor, also the setting of the Operation Fallen Ember story mission, has a HIGH threat level. The Tac Map shows it enclosed by a ring, and a red radiation zone covers the reactor. Search containers within that red zone to make progress on the task.

Equip the Gas Mask before you drive into the reactor area. While you wear it, the outline of the mask frames the edges of your view.

Head into the radiation and look for containers near the entrance. The blue medical tents there hold REFRIGERATORS, and the parked ambulances hold FIRST AID KITS.

Open five of them. Each container you loot gives 75 XP, and the HUD tracks your progress as x/5.

After the fifth container, “Search 5 Containers While in Radiation” ticks off. With all three tasks checked on the DMZ Orders screen, Radiation Station is complete.
