Quick answer: In Crimson Forest, the Cliffside Lodge bell is a wooden cross beside two clay jars, plus a stone wall, just east of the large wooden storehouse. Drop into the stake pit, wall-run up both log walls, and continue along the slope.
Where the Cliffside Lodge bell is
During Chapter 1 of Phantom Blade Zero, the bell is found in Crimson Forest. It is a plain wooden cross outdoors on snowy ground, with two clay jars and a low stone wall beside it. Look just beyond the storehouse’s eastern side; the large wooden building stands on the slope above the stake pit. The storehouse interior won’t get you there, since a wall inside cuts off that route. Circle around the building instead.

Begin at the bandit campfire reached by the long stone stairway that rises above the Red Serpent House bell. The Cliff of Longing bell is on the cliff directly over this campfire.

Enemies between the stake pit and the bell
- A Sick Dog roams the stake pit.
- One Thief guards the slope near the storehouse.
- Two Thieves guard the jars south of the storehouse, near the spot where you begin on its east side.
- Near the bell, two dogs remain still on a rocky ledge overlooking the path.
Thieves hurl knives from a distance, so close in on them rather than keeping your distance. Deal with the pair by the jars before you start round the storehouse: walking past them leaves you taking knives on the way up.
What resting at the Cliffside Lodge bell unlocks
Resting at the bell brings up the map with a new pin named “Cliffside Lodge”. The region panel shows “CRIMSON FOREST” and “Map Completion : 15%”, confirming the bell is registered on the map.

The bell menu bears the title “Cliffside Lodge” and lists Traverse, Upgrade Equipment, Store, Train Abilities, Save and Leave.

After you’ve rested there once, Cliffside Lodge appears as a Traverse destination. You can then fast travel back to it without repeating the stake pit route.
